Where to get an accurate number on where the PUBLIC is betting?

I Go againist the numbers at pinnacle. When you watch them pile on one side then about 60 percent of the time you will hit. I've been told Vegas does not release numbers. You can watch the board and figure out at each sportsbook what side somebody is on heavy. You can look at different sites and tell whos on what. Now Wagerweb is just a site where regular joes post pick and it gives you what side about 2000 people are on. It's a good fade site also.

So the answer to your question is No there is not really a true site that gives public numbers.

SI is a tool that you really need to use free or paid it is worth it.

Wagerline is a good gauge of what to blindly fade, 60% or more just fade the ****ers (part sarcasm, part truth). There all idiots (See rjp post)

Heres a scenario

Tell me what you would think about this game. I think I have this right.

In the case of the South Fla-Conn game, 83% of the action is on South Fla. yet the line opened at -5.5 and has moved down to -4.5.



Is this a game where you would want to "fade" and go with Conn as they are only getting 17% of the action (so far as number of "bets" and not a percentage of the dollar amount played on the game. The line has moved down in order to attract (what I would think) more South Fla action. Also, South Fla is picking up way too high a percentage of the action. I think I remember reading something about fading a team that has over 80% of the action as they more often than not, won't cover Joe Public's action. That is how I am reading this game.

Hack, Could have been due to injury repost, weather or the 17% betting really big. As you can see, each book moved but not the same. Some books move cause others do anticipating getting hit. For instance, Week 8, Pinny had Philly -1 and moved to +2 or +3 while Oly went to -1 1/2. 5Dimes and Cris went to a pick and are still there. Now, Oly is still at -1 1/2 and now Pinny is back to -1. I would say that now 5Dimes and Cris will move back to -1. But these are very large books and might not be getting equal action. One thing about being a local and in a network of locals is that you can call and swap bets. Trading one action for another. Say I have alot of action on Atl and another has alot of action on NO. Next thing you know, they are winning on juice. I watch lines at SI like I watch neked girls. Although Pinny is back to -1 on Philly, they went to a dog earlier today. I almost bet Philly on that alone. Road favs that move to a dog are 4-0 this year. I bet at Oly and they went to -1 1/2 so I waited on that one. Still waiting

That's exactly why I do not put much faith in SI very much. This feed result above is directly from the sportsbook.

Now what and/ or who do I believe, the sportsbook where I play a lot or a service that tells you it is receiving the info from the sportsbook but is charging you $150 + per month to tell you that the line moved to -2 because they say it moved and there are 20 gazillion people betting on one side, but the sharps haven't appeared yet so the line is correct.

I am a huge skeptic and am very cynical of these line services who charge premium $$$ for things that you can accurately get for free if you watch the book closely enough. Guess I feel it's like paying a service. Only difference is the services say that "it's guaranteed".

I have been a die hard Oly player and its a damn shame Pinny got scared and cut out us US players. Alot of books were smart enough to get around that BS. The law was vague and my dumb ass was smart enough to see a loop hole that could have kept Pinny around. Pinny got scared, bottom line. How come most big books still cater to us. Scared, plain and simple
