4-4 dropping 1.10 units last week. Second losing week in a row but they were very small. I guess that is the way to do it if you have to lose. Here is what I got for week number ten.
Mississippi St +7 vs Texas A&M (three units) ..Lost big with MSU at Alabama last week. MSU was undefeated going into that one, so it is not like they are a bad team all of a sudden. This one reminds me a lot of the Duke game this week. Not we get them at home with a touchdown in a game I think they are very capable of winning outright. I was going to buy a half point in this one but I dont think I will need it.
Pittsburgh +17 vs Notre Dame (three units) .Again we are getting some bonus points after Notre Dame went into Oklahoma and walked away with an easy win. We have an obvious let down here. The Irish have played their share of close games and Pitt has played the pretty close in recent years. Pitt also seems to play to the level of their competition. They are capable of beating a team like this and they are capable of losing to small no name team.
New Mexico St +23 vs Auburn (two units) ..I have to question why I am betting a lousy game like this, but the numbers tell me Auburn should not be this big a favorite and with their horrible season and record, I dont know how they get up for this game. I think it means more to NMS than Auburn. I will grab the generous points and hope for the best.
Duke +12.5 vs Clemson (two units) I lost with Duke last week and they got murdered on the road at Florida State. I think that is the reason this line is so high. Clemson does not have the defense FSU has and I think Duke can keep up with Clemson at home. I see a 45-37 type of game.
West Virginia -5.5 vs TCU (one unit) .Both teams struggling right now, but I feel WVU is going to explode on somebody and TCU is going to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. I dont think it will be close. If I am wrong about this one, I will be way wrong and TCU will win outright.
Penn State -3.5 vs Purdue (one unit) Not reading much into Penn State loss last week to Ohio State. I love what coach OBrien has done. With a couple of less mistakes last week, that game would have been much closer. It just got out of hand on them. Better offense, better defense for Penn State. I give Purdue the home field and field goal kicker and that is all. State by at least seven points.
