    This here NCAAF Week One Picks and Predictions!

    Thursday night:

    Vanderbilt +7 vs South Carolina
    Minnesota -9 vs UNLV
    Massachusetts +22.5 vs Connecticut

    Two units each

    Looking at Vanderbilt keeping it close late as a division rival getting points at home on a weekday is always a good proposition. Minnesota clearly the superior team here (how many times have we said that over the last decade?) vs UNLV, though that nine is a scary number as they struggled to put up points last year. And line opened up UConn -25 but has moved to 21 in some places. Yes, UMass is starting a redshirt freshman, but UConn is bad, and shouldn't be laying three TDs to anyone.

                      Friday: 0-2

                      Saturday:

                      Ohio +6.5 at Penn St. - Ohio trying to build on momentum with returning something like 22 starters from last year's bowl team. Penn St. in the dumps - we'll see how they perform emotionally vs a tested team. Penn St. traditionally a slower team in September going 1-12 ATS in last 13. Two units.

                      Ohio St -24.5 vs Miami Ohio - Ohio St's Urban Meyer will want to light it up today to show how superior his team is when Michigan loses tonight. This game will also be for in-state rivalries.

                      Ohio St./Miami Ohio o47.5

                      West Virginia/Marshall o65.5

                      Clemson -3 vs Auburn

                      Arizona/Toledo o60

                      All two units.

                      Alabama -11 vs Michigan - Just don't see how Michigan can score enough vs the Bama defense. Yes, Bama lost an entire roster to the NFL but they're 3 or 4 layers deep. The Toussaint injury hurts big time. AJ McCarron has another year, and Jacob Lacy is a beast to bring down. Alabama for 6 units here.
