Pardon me if I don't even know who Tyron Mathieu is. Montee Ball is thrown in there out of respect. Forget these 2 right off the bat.
RGIII is popular pick because he's played well the past couple of weeks. I'm shocked to see the line at +200 because I saw some ESPN calculations saying that he was first in something Heisman related. Due to this, I think this is a sucker bet with too much value, so he's definitely not winning.
It has always been a 2 headed race for over a month now. Luck and Richardson have been THE ONLY 2 candidates.
With that said, I think Luck losing so badly at home vs. Oregon hurt his chances. Also, his lackluster game to finish the season (although they won handily) really hurt him.
In the end, the winner of the Heisman typically goes to a member of the best team in the country (at least one of the 2). That would be Trent Richardson, who I don't think is that great at all, but he is Alabama's workhorse, just like Mark Ingram. If RGIII had a better team, he would prob win IMO.
Conspiracy: Luck won't win the Heisman, because Peyton Manning didn't win the Heisman. The media is going to do their best to find similarities between these 2 until a month after draft night.
Too bad there is no value in taking Richardson -160, when a lot of people are calling me upsets, but sometimes the least value has the most value, because it is the winner.2023

I've got way different odds than what you posted BTW.
Holy Moly what a difference
1 Book has:
RGII - 1500
Richardson +350
Luck +600
Ball +7500
Mathieu +15000
Another has:
RGII -3600
Richardson +5500
Luck +1450
Ball +50000
Mathieu +80000
So it looks like if you take anyone other than RGIII, its a sucker bet, but best odds are at 5 dimes.2023

Hey guy, for future Heisman betting, this site has nailed the winner the last bunch of years. They compile all the known votes out there, and at a certain point the random sample is actually statistically relevant. They have had RG3 for a little while.
