    U of Houston/Tulsa

I'm an Ohio boy transplanted to Houston, TX. The local commentators down here on the local ESPN affiliate, some of whom are U of H graduates, seem to think that Tulsa on the money line is a real good bet this week vs. Houston. Does anybody have any thoughts on this matter? I know Tulsa struggles against the pass, but also runs the ball real well, long sustained drives. What do y'all think (he says with his best Texas accent)?

IMHO it seems LV is begging you to take Hou at -3.

Buy that virtue alone I would be on Tulsa. Smells like a trap game to me.

But note, I,m not doing the greatest this year either.

The line actually started at 4.5. As soon as it came out, one sharp made a huge ml bet on Tulsa. Huge. That's why it's now at 3. I only know this because the sharp is a personal friend of one of the radio guys in Houston. He talked about it on the air. Couple hundred thousand dollar bet. The sharp has made almost a mil betting football this year.

A midwest transplant to Houston myself, I don't see what the BFD is about UH. They've beaten two teams with winning records (UCLA and SMU) and possess an SOS of 116. And to make matters worse they are coming off a huge win with Gameday on campus and facing by far their toughest test of the year, and it's a road game. Tulsa is 8-3 with losses to Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Boise. Doesn't get much better than that.

Probably want to jump on that quick before it goes to -2.5, but in a high scoring game like this the points probably wouldn't come into play.
