    Week #9

No play for me tonight but Rothstein is taking BYU and the 13.

Kent is horrid this year and can't get the offense going. Saturdays game could be just what the Doc ordered. BG's defense has been giving up points except last week against Temple @ home in a very windy game. I've gone to Kent and Dix stadium is not out in the open. High winds are for the most part uncommon. Getting back to the BG defense they're giving up almost 500 yards in total defense and 34 PAG playing away. Just because of this I really find big value in the over. The Flashes injury list is shrinking and hopefully the last ranked offense can get more than 14 points and BGSU should cover the rest. My first 2 unit play of the year.

    BGSU/Kent O39(-110).................2 units.

    Navy +21.5(-110)..................1 unit.

    Nebraska -4(-110).................1 unit.

    More later............

    Nicky,

The winds can howl at Dix....it's pretty open on the prairie out there. Two or three years ago the wind was so horrible in the game against Ohio that Matt Rineharts punt went into the air and ended up -2 yards believe that or not! I think BG can almost cover the 39 by themselves and although the Kent defense will be in better shape this week, they are not Temple, Toledo, Western, WVU, or even Wyoming for that matter. I'll probably hit the over and the BG for the side and cannot for the life of me understand how it is so low.

Like all your other plays as well.....GL!

Joe, all the times I've gone to games there the wind doesn't get anywhere near compared to to the flat plains of BG. That's what I meant to compare it to. The area from Rt. 261 and Summit street to where the golf course is on Powder Mill road is very wooded. My years attending Kent I saw very little wind. Sure, I agree it can get "gusty" but nothing like the plains at BG. Example for today's Kent game is about 3-5 mph. Definitely liking the over today:thumbs:

        GL today bro!

        Adding:

        NC State +19(-120)...................1 unit.

        Florida +3(-110)........................1 unit.

        K State +14(-120).....................1 unit.

        Hawaii -7(-110)........................1 unit.

        UCLA +5(-110)..........................1 unit.

        Clemson -3(-120)......................1 unit.
