Forum Record: 11-8
Gave out Charlotte as one of my web page picks, * Play, just noticed the Fade team, Fla Atl, is 1-0 in this * spot, they covered on Sat 8/31 vs Mich St.
Not that it would put me off the Charlotte play, but I should have noted it.
Also, there are two other * Plays this weekend.
Army is in the Fade spot, but too many points for me on this one, I'll stay off.
The other * Play is on Sunday. It's featured in my NFL article, watch for it Saturday or Sunday morning.
And, while I'm here, for info purposes only:
NP Un record is 21-11, ALL shared here at PredictEm.
I haven't been getting any of them lately, but I have one for tomorrow, E Car/N Tex at 12:30 pm PST.
Looking at a subcategory - have either of these two teams been in this spot already this season?
N Tex Hm vs Ind on 11/19 and the play lost
E Car @ Old Dom on 9/7 and the play won. Also Hm vs App St on 9/14 and the play won. And 11/7 Hm vs Fla Atl and the play lost.
Four spots, 2 W's, 2 L's.
Opened at 72, now at 72'/73.
E Car is 6-4 Ov on the Rd, N Tex is 8-2 Ov at Hm.
Nothing to like about the Un there.
Three of E Car's last four were > the number on this game.
Five of N Tex's last six were > the number on this game.
Nothing to like about the Un there either.
At 21-11, 65% I hate to pass on this play, but here's the deciding factor.
It also qualifies for an Under in my H/C (Hot/Cold) trend reversal system. The record for that play is 9-16, 36%.
The thing about totals that are this high is everything has to go right for the Over to come in.
BOTH teams have to perform at their current/expected levels. If a couple of possessions end with punts it becomes difficult to hit 73, even with fast-paced, high scoring offenses and sieve-like defenses.
In other words, it's a fun kind of game to watch, the kind I want in on (and if the number goes higher I just may buy in) but with my web page article pick going off at 12:30 too, I'll be watching that game instead.
Posted for info purposes only and in case anyone is looking for angles on ND or the total in E Car/N Tex.
If I make any additional buys I'll add them to this post.
Good luck with your plays this weekend.
