    NCAA 2011 Futures

    Futures:

    To win BCS Championship:

    Virginia Polytechnic Institute +2500

    - piggybacking off my friend's analysis, I was sold. Taking the Hokies and hoping I didn't jinx Polar Ice :bang:

    To win Big 12 Conference:

    Texas Technological +1800

    - this is a loooongshot, but if there was a year the Big 12 was vulnerable, this is it. OU is the consummate favorite of all things college football. Incredibly, Texas A&M is favored over UT to win the Big 12 behind OU overall. I think A&M will not live up to their preseason billing, UT might duplicate last year's results. For Tech, this means winning @OU, @UT, and @Mizzou while home games at A&M and OSU will be tough. For all these reasons that Tech WON'T win the Big 12, I'm just gonna drop 1 unit as a homer and see how strong the Big "12" really is.

1 unit each on the futures bets

I think you just did. :flush: GL to us both! :beerbang:

On a side note, I just remembered I need to update my horrendous MLB record. So glad football is here.
    2010 NCAAF: 10-5 (+4.5 units)
    2010 NFL: 18-5 (+12.6 units)
    2010 NCAAB: 34-24 (+8.6 units)
    2011 MLB: 33-50 (-10.34 units)
