    Oregon vs LSU week 1

What does everyone think about Oregon -1 and the Over 55 in Week 1?

Do you know if the LSU players involved with the police right now are impact players? If so I gotta think this lines grows a little.

I was favoring Oregon before and now they look even better with the NCAA investigation from the bar fight. Overall just think LSU has too many question marks on offense to hang with Oregon for 4 quarters.

Cliff harris is not playing he is suspended, thats big loss for ducks. also even though oregon rolls 4 deep with star power running backs on this team, i think la micheal james is out for game 1 too, no word around here as too if darren thomas will be suspended also for game 1 vs lsu, since he was riding shotgun with cliff harris in the 120 mph Toke-Mobile

Lsu quarter back was in the bar fight , but like oregon any possiblity for suspension is on the down low due to not giving the other team heads up for preperation..

also ducks traditionally start out flat offensively in their early season big games, vs big time prime time opponents

last 4 early season big time matchups

        @ Tennessee 2010 halftime 13-13 tied

        @ Boise St 2009 halftime 13-0 losing

vs Boise St 2008 halftime 24-6 losing

vs Oklahoma 2006 halftime 13-6 leading

I think a 1st half under might be a strong play in this game or a play on the ducks to win the 2nd half....

Right now for game total i lean under 55

only way this game reaches the 55 point is if the ducks come out and crush lsu like they did to Tennessee last year...

lsu wont be able to go deep on the ducks, but they might have success eating the clock up and running the football for firstdowns, if LSU wins this game it will be in same fashion as last years title game in that 23-20 range ... oregon makes great halftime adjustments, and les miles teams play sound defense.. excited to watch this game, but am personally rooting for a

        55-10 Ass Whooping :beerbang:

        GO DUCKS!

Starting QB was in the investigation, the rest were back-ups.

1 thing i would like to add here, that i just randomly thought about...

last years national title game was played on Grass, if you noticed oregon was losing their footing often in the game especially in the early 3-4 drives...

Auburn and Lsu both are Grass football teams

Oregon is turf team, they are built for turf, they are a speed team...

This game here is being Played on Turf in Dallas, This will play to a big advantage to oregons speed....

The more i think about this The Ducks and the Over might actually be a better play due to a dry turf enviorment... Better footing makes for faster cuts for wr, rb and qb...

              Just a thought..
