    Yikes

    There's a lot of talk about Oregon facing Auburn in the BCS Championship.

    As much as I hate to say it being a lifelong Duck fan and all, the jibberish is a bit premature as the Oregon/Oregon State civil war game presents a situation in which ANYTHING can happen. The Ducks are WAY better than Oregon St., but I've seen these stinkin beavers bull off bigger feats than beating the 2010 Ducks at Reser.

    Furthermore, I really believe South Carolina can beat Auburn on Saturday.

    I'd love to see a Ducks/Tigers BCS Championship game, but it ain't no gimme by any means.

      I hate when the all the sports jocks make early calls like in the elections.....don't mind the "what if" scenarios, but sheesh, let 'em settle it on the field already! Both wlll be tough match ups and Mike Riley always get his boys fired up for the big ones at home. I think the Ducks win in a closer than expected game, and Auburn won't have as tough a time stopping Garcia and the USC offense, they just have to crack the USC 'D'.

          Knowing next to nothing about the Oregon/Oregon State rivalry, I can say it seems like that's way too high of a spread for a rivalry game. My book has it 16.5 with a lot of places at 17 and 17.5... is it me or does it seem like Oregon State comes to play in huge games? Without knowing any stats or results, just an inclination. Oregon just seems like an unlikely championship contender, and Auburn with all of the Newton struggles. Personally, I'd like to see one of them lose for a wrinkle in the BCS...

              I was watching ESPN yesterday and saw a segment on the Oregon-OSU game with that hot bitch Erin Andrews and Herbstreet, and they opened the segment saying the Oregon players didn't want to talk about the "natty" ... which is the nickname the players gave the national championship game.

              I thought to myself ... not only are they looking ahead, but their making up nicknames for the game already? Holy crap look ahead.

              I for one am a BCS hater, so I hope both Oregon State and South Carolina win today. Then the BCS is in a world of hurt.

              I agree with Kevin, SoCar has a great chance to beat Auburn. Go Cocks!!

                  The moron Mark May really likes both favorites (go figure). I like what Holtz had to say whether he's homering on the Gamecocks or not. They learned a few things since they met a couple months ago. The Tigers need to watch out for Alshon Jeffery, they can't let him get loose. I laid the chalk with Auburn but I question myself after doing so when laying 4. Carolina is really playing some stellar defense giving up 18 PAG the last three. They can also keep up if this thing becomes a shoot out. As whack as this sounds, Garcia's passing number are just as good as Newtons.

                  If the Cocks can limit the "big" plays of Newton and really get Lattimore and the ground game going they have a great shot @ a straight up win. The brute running style of Cam was basically my factor on who I'm siding with.
