Reds - I played baseball. UnivMiz-Rolla, ArizWestern, Drexel Univ

Iowa City seems to stack up every 4-5 years. cyclical. None the less solid.

Hawk game was sad to watch... ugly game. I'm not a huge fan of watching games at NW. camera angles, always overcast, not a big venue, etc...

4th Quarter meltdown...

City High is gunning for their 2nd straight class 4A title Friday night. They have always had some strong teams going back to Tim Dwight and the Hill brothers and they have 4 or 5 D-I prospects on their squad this season.
You think NW is bad on TV, you should see their High School stadium in person. This was the 4th time I've been over there for a game and I just shake my head every time. Only other venue in the Big-10 that is even remotely as poor is Indiana's, and they just upgraded their place this past off season.

My nephew is a Junior in High School and is being looked at by Dartmouth and some of the other East Coast private schools to play baseball. He wants to play at Notre Dame but that ain't happening. My brother is trying to make him understand what a degree from Dartmouth or Williams or a similar school means, but he's 17 and knows it all and is holding out for ND to come bang on his door....:bang:
