Georgia +8.5 over Auburn.
Aub QB Newton has rumors swirling around him but has been the most dynamic off plyr in the nation TY avg 189 ypg (67%) with a 19-5 ratio and 1,146 rush (6.5). GA is only allowing 106 rush ypg (3.1) but all’d 231 rush yds to FL with their mix of mobile QB’s and fast RB’s. Aub’s one weakness may be their secondary as they rank #76 in our pass D rankings which means GA WR Green could have a big night. Aub can clinch their spot in the SEC Title gm with a win here, but GA needs 1 win in their L/2 gms to be bowl eligible.
Army & Kent In their only prior meeting, ‘06, KS scored a late 4Q TD to force OT but lost 17-14 as KS fmbl’d while Army hit a 36 yd FG. Army is 3-2 SU but 1-4 ATS vs MAC tms the L/2Y. Army blew a 28-13 3Q lead over Temple losing 42-35 as a 6 pt HD being outgained 407-359. KS lost to Temple 28-10 as 3’ pt HD being outgained 465-223. Temple was avg 173 (4.7) rushing coming into LW but KS held them to just 97 yds (2.1) as KS leads the FBS in rush D (69 ypg, 2.1). Army is avg 277 ypg (4.8) rushing. Army needs 1 win to be bowl eligible for the first time S/’96, but is off a loss to rival Air Force and has Notre Dame on deck. KS was eliminated from the MAC East race and needs to win 2 of their final 3 to be bowl eligible.
