    Let's bank some :chaching: tonight!
Toledo has a nice team, but they are a slow starting. And if this guy wasn't good enough to start over Dantin who is a good QB but not a great one, I just can't see the Rockets upside!
Batman: "If you can't spend it, money's just a lot of worthless paper, isn't it?" :phew:

The Bowling Green Falcons have not played since Oct. 30, giving them three extra days to prepare for the RedHawks.

“When you are coaching in this conference, you get used to that,” said coach Dave Clawson after noting that his team’s three games this month include two Wednesday contests and the season finale on a Friday. “As a coaching staff, we spent time in the past offseason researching the best way to handle these types of games.
“As a result, we’ve had a couple of extra practices, and we’ve been able to shorten a few practices.”

Same could be said for Miami, however they were a little more beat up than BGSU. Both these teams can't run the ball worth a crap; Miami 119th and BGSU 120th. Passing on the other hand is 32nd and 51st respectively. The Redhawks are looking for control of the MAC East lead with a win they go to 5-1. Miami's defense should help stopping the pass attack of freshman Matt Schilz who has been almost all the offense the Falcons have.

              Redhawks -2(-120)...............1 unit.

              For Friday.......

Pitt coming off 3 straight wins and covering all 3 as well. Wins over Louisville, Rutgers and Syracuse is exactly exerting yourself and leaves me not impressed. This to me is a must win for UCONN. With 4 wins they need to get it going to have an outside shot at a bowl. They will play tough @ home. Love the dog and the points.

              Huskies +6(-120)...............1 unit.

              More for Saturday, GL all:beerbang:!

                  Today's slate.........

BC (4-5, 2-4) and Duke (3-6, 1-4), two of the more academically elite ACC institutions which are having disappointing seasons on the football field. The Blue Devils’ offense has exploded the last two weeks, producing a 34-31 victory over Navy and a 55-48 win over Virginia.
BC comes into the game down three injured starters on the offensive line — Rich Lapham (knee), Ian White (shoulder), and Nathan Richman (shoulder). Defensively, the Eagles will be without end Alex Albright, safety Wes Davis, and cornerback DeLeon Gause. Gause might make it back for the regular-season finale against Syracuse after suffering a knee injury against Maryland Oct. 23. Albright (leg) could get back for a bowl game, while Davis (neck) has been advised not to play again. To many injuries and I like the dog @ home.

                  Duke +4(-120)...............1 unit.

Biggest spread Illinois has faced this year but, we are talkin' the Gophers. They have given up almost 40 points, 200 rush yards and 200 pass yards a game. The Illini's numbers are a bit inflated from last wekks heart breaking loss @ Michigan. Minnesota has packed it in and I'm laying the chalk here.

                  Illinois -21(-110)...........1 unit.

                  Minn/Illi O53(-110)........1 unit.

November has not been kind to the Kent State football team.
In the past 12 years, the Golden Flashes are 9-27 in November. Their problems in November have had little to do with the weather and a lot to do with the health of their quarterbacks.
The only Novembers in which KSU has had success in those 12 years were during the 2003 and 2004 seasons, when Josh Cribbs quarterbacked the Flashes to a 5-1 record.
I don't see this trend changing and Army will be ready as they have a bowl well within their grasp.
Spencer Keith practiced with the Flashes (4-5) and was preparing to start against the Black Knights (5-4). However, Martin and his staff also worked with backup quarterbacks Giorgio Morgan, a junior, and sophomore Sal Battles during the week in case Plan B is needed.

But why is a less-than-100 percent Keith preferred over either of the backups? At the beginning of the week, Martin said he was considering rotating the backups and using them depending upon the play. The Flashes are likely to also be without senior linebacker Cobrani Mixon, a leader on defense.

                  Army +1(-110)..............1 unit.

OHIST are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 home games.

                  Bucks -18(-120)..............1 unit.

                  SDSU +28(-110).............1 unit.

                  Gamecocks +7(-110)........1 unit.

                  Stanford -5(-110)............1 unit.

                  Geo/Aub O63(-110).........1 unit.
