They were doing that in the late 70's and early 80's while I attended Kent. Old fart Kent fans know we keep that deep in our hearts and it will never be forgotten. Some of the dip**** young Kent students need a little education on it as well as a host of others. Sad how some have either forgotten it, just overlook it, or could care less.

YIKES. Early 80s Kent is the definition of suck. 33 losses in 34 games or something like that. Remember going to a Kent - Ball State game at Dix Stadium in 1982 or 1983 .... something like 14 turnovers in the game.

Not many people know that Kent actually played in something called the Refrigerator Bowl. LMAO. I think it was played in Indiana.

I saw some bad football when I went to school there. The Flashes were a hardluck team for sure. Hence my story at the OSU/PU game about filling 35mm film canisters with kamikaze shots to take the games. And the end zone used to be called the ozone.....students would freeze beer in milk jugs and take them to the game! Ah, the good ol days.....:laughing:
