TUESDAY -
NORTHERN ILLINOIS -10.5 vs. Toledo W

Backing NIU at home vs. Toledo in a game which is essentially for the MAC West Crown! Upstart UT has their first winning season since 2005 and are on a roll. However, they lost their starting QB and started a redshirt freshman who threw for 234 yards and 4TDs last week, but that was against Eastern Michigan. He was 10/15 passing with a long of 74 yards. The Huskies 'D' will not give up the big play! The line opened at -12 and was at -10.5 and is now up to -11. It is a huge game and UT had an extra week to prepare. UT has been a slow starter this season and really explodes in the second half. Kent had them down at the Glass Bowl 21-7 before UT came back and won 34-21; they trailed Ball State 17-0 but won 31-24; and they barely led EMU 8-0 and 15-7 at the half before winning 45-7. You can't start slow against NIU who has led in every MAC game except a 17-17 tie with Temple at the half and last week when they trailed at WMU 14-13 before winning 28-21. Their second halves have also been different stories as they have outscored MAC opponents 87-15 in the last two quarters.

I am on NIU tonight -10 -120 and also played a teaser NIU -3 1/2 & BGSU +11 -130.....

what is so funny is that there are never any fans @ these midweek games in the MAC and Sunbelt and i have to tell you that outside of gamblers, parents and alumni, there isn't a soul watching them on TV either.

Watch tomorrow especially at the Miami(oh)/BG game...there won't be 2000 fans in the stands.....:ohman:......i flipped by one game a couple weeks ago and thought it was a replay of a HS game when i saw the stands...:laughing:

Nah, right now I'm leaning toward the boys from the Ivy League of the Midwest! Can get them at -2.5 right now. BG played a great game at CMU last week, but I think CMU was looking a little ahead to WMU and their big rivalry game........still looking at the game though!

The daughter moved off campus this year she loves it there and is doing great! Just went down to Bluffton U today with the boy to see if he wants to become a Beaver!!!

Have played a few but been suckin bad I'm going with the Redhawks so I hope I don't take ya down with me!!!
