    Woody's Week TEN (43-36 YTD)

    Wow, week 10 already....???

Been htitting around 50% for the last couple week so I need a good one this week. Selectivity is my key word this week. Going to try to narrow it down to 5-7 good, smart, plays and emilminate my garbage plays that seem to kill me each week.

    PLAYS:

Houston +3 vs. UCF....Like UCF but a tought spot here on the road. Houston has figured out how to play again with their new QB learning the system. Look like the houston of old and liek their team speed from what I have seen. UCF is solid and will run the ball but have to take a shot at the home doggy here on the weekeday. Public is backing UCF too so it makes this one better for the Houston backers.

Mizzou -4 over Texas Tech...Some value here with Mizzou coming off a loss. Public has short memory and see that the Huskers killed them. But remember what they did to Okie the week before. TT has an offense but no D, and Mizzou can and will score with them, plus hold them down better than the Okie States have done. Line moving against me on this one as it started at -5.5 but I still like the Tigers here to keep pace in the Big 12 North.

    More to come...

    Adding:

Colorado State +18 over SD State...SD State has been great this year and have won a few in row but have TCU on deck. CSU has improved over the year. Most recent common opponent was the crappy Lobos but CSU did destroy beat them more than SD State did. I think CSU hangs around to stay within the number as the Aztechs may be peakign ahead a little and marking this one down as a 'W'already.

Penn State -6 over Northwestern...NW on B2B roadies here and hit an emotional crowd at PSU for JoePas 400th possibly and for win #6 for the season. NW is getting some love here due to the record and think there is value on the upswinging Lions. Fres Qb is maturing and theis one could be all PSU easily.

Arizona State +5.5 over USC...While USC could blow these guys out at home, I think they used up a lot of emotion last week vs. oregon. Hard for a college kid to get motivated when there nothing to play for and ASU could light them up thru the air.

Nebraska -18.5 over Iowa State...revenge is the only key I am looking at here. ISU is capable of getting blown out and think there last couple wins have kept this line down. Utah spanked ISU at home earlier, and I see the same thing here by the Huskers. Last year it could have been 50-0 without the silly turnovers. This one has been cirlced by NU all year. High % on the huskers but I think its still the play.

    ML Parlay:
Air Force...Think Army is getting too much love. AF is solid this year and in a different class.
Alabama...May be a close won but LSU has already used up their miracles this year.
Iowa...Just a padding game to increase the odds. Iowa should not have trouble with IU.

    Adding these last few plays:

    Utah/TCU UNDER 52....see a 21-20 type of game.

Wake +3 over BC....Weird line considering how bad Wake has been. Kind of like BC last week over Clemson. i will go the other way of the logic here.

Thats probably all for the week.

    Good luck guys!

A couple I am looking at:

      Wake +3 over BC

      Duke over Virginia

      Michgan -3 over Illinois

All games that the betting public is on the other side more than 70%.

      Add ASU in there too.

            Adding one more:

Boise State -21 over Hawaii...I have a funny feeling this is going to land right on 21 but if not, Boise cover by a few.

REALLY wanted to play Louisville +7 ay Cuse but the injuries are scaring me away.

              4-6 for the week.

              47-42 YTD.:puke:

Most of my early looks won when I didn't break donw the game as much.

Stats and matchups are fine, but I think reading the lines and seeing where the money going is far more valuable than any stats. Insticnts work when you cap every week.

              onto this week...
