    From GoPSUSports:

In the win at Minnesota, true freshman quarterback Rob Bolden completed his first nine passes and led Penn State on two scoring drives before being forced from the game in the second quarter with an injury. He finished the day completing 11-of-13 passes for 130 yards with one touchdown, a 21-yard strike to Brett Brackett, and no interceptions.

Bolden, McGloin and sophomore Kevin Newsome have all practiced this week. On Thursday's "Penn State Football Show," Joe Paterno told the radio audience that McGloin was the leading candidate to get the start against Michigan. Should McGloin start, he would become the 16th Nittany Lion to earn his first career start this season.

On Penn State's first play after cornerback D'Anton Lynn returned an end zone interception 58 yards, redshirt sophomore quarterback Matt McGloin tossed his first career completion, hitting Derek Moye on a 42-yard scoring connection and a 21-7 lead. McGloin also threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Moye in an effective outing in the most significant playing time of his career. MCGLOIN IS ALSO THE QB WHO THREW THE INT TO LYNN.....and he is definitely not a threat to run.

I expect that the running of Michigan's QB Denard Robinson, and any passing they can muster will be enough to keep PSU's defense off balance. It doesn't help that the Lions two starting defensive ends are both questionable and the defense ranks 8th vs. the run. Michigan is 2nd in the Big Ten in scoring and PSU is 10th. Michigan is also 5th in pass efficiency and the Lions are very susceptible over the middle.

Don't see PSU being its normal self in the running game this year....they have been anything but and are next to last in the Big Ten in rushing:

This is the weakest PSU team I've seen in years. Evan Royster has been running in a phone booth for the most part. Check out where he ranks in the Big Ten rushing stats:

Ya but look at Psu's schedule and Michigan's. Psu has played some stout competition. Don't think Michigan has seen too many solid defenses, especially on the road.

Don't think their schedules are all that different.....fairly even except for Alabama! It's going to be a whiteout........:sm:

Royster 100+ yards in the first half and now PSU's all-time leading rusher, McGloin no mistakes and playing like a veteran at QB 10/17 for 137 a TD and no INTs and not a flag thrown on the Lions in the first half.

Michigan not far off in total yards but just 70 yards passing and only 6 completions. The best part about this game is watching Rich Rod's face........

PHEW, Michigan was in perfect pick six position but missed the ball and a big gainer for PSU to the UM 35.......that would have been a huge mistake to start the second half!:bang:
