    Thursday Night Game

    YTD 15-8-1:beer2:

    Oregon -25.5 over/under 61 vs UCLA

If you guys are like me and you place your bets based the numbers this one is hard to figure out. But here we go. UCLA is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog of 10.5 points or greater and are 23-10 ATS after a straight-up loss. Oregon is 20-8 in their last 28games as a favorite of 10.5 points or more. Something got to give on this one. Now the total, The under is 21-5-1 in UCLA’s last 27 conference games. The over is 8-1 Oregon’s last nine conference games. :bang:

Niether team is healthy with players missing all over the place. Oregon will be without 3 starters on defense—CB Anthony Gildon, DE Terrell Turner and Zac Clark--are listed as doubtful. RB Kenjon Barner, who was carted off the field in their last game, isn’t expected to play either. UCLA will probably be without their starting QB Prince and they have suspended their top returner for the game as well.

This line has gone from an open line of 20.5 to where it stands now at 25.5.

To me this a game that Oregon MUST impress America with a dominate win to stay in the national title picture. This team can not have a game in which they allow UCLA to hang around. In my opinion this team must play a whole game. They have to win this game big.

They say the margin of victory does not figure in. I say thats BS, every voter in america looks at the final score.

I think UCLA will hang around a little but I expect Oregon offense to explode on UCLA and win in a rout. If UCLA was healthy on offense maybe I can see a closer game. For UCLA to have a chance they need Oregon to beat themselves, and I don't see that happening. Don't expect Oregon to implode like Texas did. My prediction: Oregon 48-17.

    Oregon -25.5 and over 61

    Good Luck to everyone!!

              Thanks wavejumper!!

Joepa! They are making it out to be a pansy game. Look the players back in the day are rolling their eyes I am sure.

Seriously though, the players are faster, stronger, than ever. Something must be done or we are going to continue to have life changes injuries.
