Guess I fell for some of these games others are leery of....
Anyways here's what I got. No real juicy writeups, I'm in VEGAS baby and am too drunk for particulars!:beerbang:
Michigan St -6.5 at Northwestern (2 units) WIN
I dunno...call it a trap game, call it NW being underrated or a spoiler, blah blah blah. Michigan State -as a team -is better than Northwestern by more than a touchdown. If the Spartans play a clean game they win by DD. NW could very easily be 3-3 or 2-4 considering the games they've played...against crap competition nonetheless. If Sparty is a real Big Ten championship contender like they've looked over the first half of the season they win this game 28-13 or thereabouts.
Western Michigan -7.5 at Akron (1.8 units) WIN
Another one you can call me crazy. But Akron is garbage and have yet to keep a game within single digits. WMU is coming off a loss at Notre Dame where they were at least able to move the ball at score some points. Akron should look like a JV team compared to them. WMU can throw the ball, whereas Akron can't move the ball through the air if their lives depended on it. The Zips have THREE (count 'em three) touchdown passes from their starting QB this season.
I'm against the grain on this one, but I don't think Akron will be able to keep it single digits. 34-21 WMU is my guess.
I'll add one or two more later in the week. GL everybody!!!! :booz:
