At the high school level, if you have an elite running back playing in front of a good offensive line, its difficult to stop no matter how good your defense might be. I can't remember which thread, but I mentioned the name Akise Teague and he didn't disappoint tonight. Kid is a player and has been for a couple years now.
Tonight was the night of running backs in big games. Harding played Massillon and Demond Hymes (WGH) rushed for 348 against the Tigers' defense....the same one that shut down Steubenville last week.2010 CFB: 39-33-0 (ATS)

They field a team like that because there are no schools left in Y-town!!!
There's nothing left period, of Y-town.
Teague is special, nice young man, met him this summer at fundraiser, he will make some coaching staff very happy at the next level!
Good luck to both teams the rest of the way!

I think Rayen and Woodrow Wilson both closed in 2007-08, and combined with the old East HS neighborhood. They built a newer building were going to build some newer lower grade buildings but enrollment/population is declining in the area so the plans were junked. So that only leaves public school choices Chaney, East, Liberty and a school they dubbed Choffin and "early college school" were the kids actually earn college credits....I don't they Choffin eve has sports its just an academic center. None of those schools I think it's safe to say, is very competitive and languish in mediocrity at best. But the Y-town area has been depressed since the 70s when the steel mills started closing.Batman: "If you can't spend it, money's just a lot of worthless paper, isn't it?" :phew:Comment

Another choice obviously is Cardinal Mooney besides Ursuline!
