Bullz Picks Week 4

Had a pretty good week last week going 6-3 and getting up 2.8 units. Unfortunately one play away from being up 5.1 units on the ND moneyline but that's the way it goes sometimes :bang:. Got one early play because I know the line is going to keep moving against me.

UCONN -20 vs Buffalo

I normally wouldn't want any Big East team laying these kind of points but when you have an experienced, well-coached UCONN team that has seriously underachieved so far this season up against some teams that have improved drastically from last season. Frazer has struggled early in the season but after the bad loss against Temple and a little pressure being put on him he should come out with a big game against a UB defense that has only had any kind of success against Rhode Island and a UCF offense that has looked stagnant so far this season. When you factor in Jordan Toddman and an experienced OL for UCONN and a defensive front that should give a struggling UB QB (Jerry Davis) even more fits than UCF and Baylor did I see a big win for a UCONN team coming home after being upset @ Temple.

Seriously considering the following plays but haven't put anything in for sure:
WVU +9.5 @ LSU
South Carolina +2.5 @ Auburn
Troy -11 vs Arkansas St
SDSU -7.5 vs Utah St

South Carolina ML vs Auburn(+125)

If SC can continue their success against the run early in this game and force Newton to put the ball in the air they will have a very good chance at winning this game. Newton threw 2 picks on 14 passes against the only decent pass D on the schedule so far in Clemson and SC's underachieving secondary has already picked the ball off 3 times this season. I think turnovers will be the name of the game here and SC should have more success moving the ball on the ground which will keep Garcia from throwing the ball 33 times per game like he did last year when SC was putting up 121 ypg rushing.

Been going back and forth on a lot of games on this weeks card and not liking many of them. Still considering ND and SDSU but not sure what I'm going to play yet.

Expensive as hell at betus but I don't see pitt gaining any ground in this one.

GL!...you really need to find multiple outs and this is a good example....you are laying -1 1/2 -140 and you could be laying -1/2 -115 at the greek or some other books. And if you are getting the "shaded" lines at betus that some get you really need to find another out for favorites. That is really horrible value on that play, but i still think you cash it unless jaw-quarry implodes

Flyers - yeah I've been meaning to do that this season. Had some cash in betus already and added some to it at the beginning of the season but should have put that extra somewhere else. I don't think I have ever laid -140 before(even on a ML) but I couldn't pass this one up.

Thanks allstar. I'm the same way with usf. Rarely bet for or against them but I think I'm 5-0 when I have. I feel pretty similar with this game as I did with notre dame last week. Seems like a tossup and I'll take the dog ml odds in an even game any day. In hind sight I should have taken the points on that one last week but at +2.5 I'll stick with the ML
