TROY -10 -120.....4Units........ Completely the wrong line move here IMO. TROY is the class of the sunbelt and is coming home off 2 tough tough road losses (still not sure how i didn't get the cover last Saturday). ARKST off a RARE point spread win in their conference home opener Saturday in which i had them as one of my favorite plays of the weekend last weekend. Different story this weekend, IMO. TROY is the class of the Sunbelt (kind of like being called the skinniest fat chick i know) and I think they take out the past 2 weeks on an ARKST team that is a horrrendous point spread team. They are 7-20 in their L27 games ATS, 0-7 ATS on turf in the last 3 years and an ugly 3-15 ATS in road games. TROY is 12-4 ATS in conference L3 years and i like those trends to continue today. I thought this line would come closer to 14 so 11 is huge value IMO. I don't think the collapses the last 2 weeks will have any lingering effect on TROY as it's the sunbelt that matters to them at this point.....hopefully the late collapses the last 2 weeks will get them focused and finish off a game finally. Probably my favorite play so far this week. TROY stepping down in class where they have been very succesful ATS and SU in the past few years.

also waiting for the line to climb on ARK and then I will grab some 1H with them.

Going to go ahead and play a few of these.......like a bunch of dogs this week which didn't go so well last weekend.....no team totals out yet but will dig into a bunch of those later in the week...

UGA +1 1/2 -115...5Units........teams have a bunch in common...both 1-2, both the bulldogs and both have stunk so far for the most part. MISSST has just been beyond awful, though, the past couple of weeks on offense and I don't see any reason why that doesn't continue Saturday @ home versus UGA. UGA will get a win here IMO in probably another ugly low scoring game.

SCAR +3......just think they are the better team here. AUB really has had some problems offensively the past couple of weeks and IMHO, they were lucky to win that Clemson game due to Parker getting dinged up and the late FG hijinx. SCAR has a very solid football team this year and I think will win the SEC East. Even if AUB does win I can't see it being by more than a FG so I will take the FG and call for the outright here.

WVU +10 -120...........bottom line IMO is that LSU doesn't have the offense to win this game by margin. Really wouldn't be all that shocked to see WVU come out with a win. Either way, much like the above game, if the home team does get it done I can't believe it would be by more than 10 points. Not to mention this is kind of a weird spot for them off of 2 conference games and now playing a non conference game before hosting Tennessee again. LSU was picked to finish towards the bottom of the SEC West and some smoke and mirror games early on and some bad opponents I think have masked the fact that this football team is not the LSU of old and really an average team.

BYU +6.............see my thoughts in the discussion thread with this title. This is THE spot play of the week IMO. UNR coming off of probably its biggest win in ages and with their super bowl on deck versus UNLV (i follow those schools and that rivalry and they hate each other)....sandwich spot for UNR. BYU has been in 2 really bad spots the past 2 weeks going to AFA who i think by now we know is a pretty good team and then following that up with a trip to FSU, who was coming off a dismantiling @ Oklahoma and you knew would bounce back. Now they come home to host UNR, "granite" without their main QB but I actually still think they get it done and I will call for the outright here in this one too. Not a good spot for UNR at all.

AFA -550/UAZ -260/TENN -550 (-107)...........3 teams i more than expect to pick up victories. AFA should run all over Wyoming....UAZ i really don't see losing to CAL @ home in the pac10 opener...CAL was exposed in the UNR game and Arizona will run all over them like UNR did.....TENN is really not a good football team, but neither is UAB and rockytop gets a much needed win today.....


I am planning on playing TROY as mentioned...going to wait and see if i can get another 1/2 point or point later in the week via line move......CSU is on my radar and I can grab +9 @ betus but I am getting greedy and hoping to get another 1/2 point to a point there. Also eyeing a 1H play on ARK....

Favorites I like but am still debating NWU, Arizona, AFA, MSHL,

Also will probably add some cusefanteaserguy specials and definitely hit some totals up later in the week....

Exactly, waiting to see if I can get another point or two on that Troy line......although I really feel it will be a lopsided win, but why not get the "insurance" if you can for free. Like them JawJaw Booldawgs also so our cards are fairly similar.

I liked BYU at first glance too. Although I see it's now down to 4 so I don't know if I can wait any longer on that.

What did you think of Boise -17.5 over OSU? I like the pts. Boise beat a mediocre VT team and Wyoming so what? I'm still not sold on them and maybe it's just the Boise doubter in me, but 17.5 seems like to many. I'll see what the line does.

You convinced me on the Troy play and I agree with you on the Gamecock play. Auburn is due to hit the wall and this is just the game. ARKST scored 26 on them and I also believe this can go over the total of 43.5 GL this week FF:thumbs:

NostraDamus +6.............like every game ND has played in their past 10 or so have been 3 and 4 point games. STAN first true road test and I think 6 points is too generous here not to back Nostra Damus

AFA -6 1/2 & UAZ PK...........UAZ good mindset right now going into this week off the Iowa game by my sources....AFA should win here by DD. Little In-sur-awnce on both game lines, though.

CSU +16 & Nostra Damus +13 (-130)...............basically taking betus and their wack lines and getting some great line value with CSU. STAN isn't 14 points better than ND @ their place and I was debating CSU +9 so we'll make it +16 and take a shot with both of these teams to not get blown out. I mean seriously...if you lose @ home to Idaho by 17 points you should ask for a 1-AA application and permission to play on Friday nights at Fort Collins HS.

Got the Dover vs. River View blowout on Friday but they called me today short a studio guy to do on-air coaching interviews and gather scores and read the updates. I'll be somewhere on air for sure. And come on over and tryout....tomorrow is our first qualifier to make first round cuts. Have a match on Oct. 1 and Oct 16 as well.

ARK +4 1/2 (1H).........i honestly think ALA runs away with this game in the 2H but I will give it a shot with ARK 1H to keep things close. They have the offense to strike quickly and put up some points. Hoping ALA starts a little slow in their first real road game of the season. Definitely not my strongest play of the weekend.

OSU -27 (1H)........38-3 halftime IMO. If they don't cover the 27 in the 1H it will be for lack of effort which i haven't seen yet this season from them.

FAU -10 -115..............fading NTEX and after stifler gets done playing Federer in tennis i heard he is QB'ing for NTEX this weekend (and maybe playing center too).....:beerbang:

IU Over39 1/2 -120..............IU loves to roll it up on ****ty competition. Had UK over close to this number last week versus AKR and hopefully the same result for IU this week.

ARKST/TROY Over65 -120...........should be an ass load of points in this one. Neither team can defend the pass, though, I will say that both teams have played big6 conference opponents that have offense (OKST, Auburn etc...) so that does skew the number some.

ORE/ASU Over56.............banking on the quack attack to put up 40+ again in this one. ASU off a physical game last weekend @ Wisky and hopefully that has some carry over to help the number.

PSU -550/PUR -450/TEX -700/FSU -850/BOIST -850 (+103)....4Units....obviously 5 teams I think should prevail at home this weekend. Weakest link in there is PUR IMO.
