Going to be Week 13 CFB before you know it.....scarrrr-yyy how time flies....

YTD: 17-8 +24.1 Units

WISC -550/ILL -300/UAZ +10 -490 (-111)...........really shocked if either big10 team loses @ home, though, I am not thrilled with the way either team has played so far. And UAZ wins that game IMO or at least stays within a TD. W +2

add more later in the week.....

I would honestly be shocked to see Iowa leave Tucson with a DD win on Saturday.....UAZ didn't have Foles last year @ Iowa and hung in there with them and only lost by 10 and had chances late to win it...the teams are really mirror images of one another in that they both have strong defenses and run the ball well. I would give the passing advantage to UAZ and that will not be an easy place to play on Saturday night for Iowa. That is probably the game I am most looking forward to on Saturday. We will see where both teams are @ that point. Can't really say a 35-0 pasting of a ****ty ISU team or demolishing ****adel tells us much.

Kind of thought the same thing last week when i saw OSU -10 over Miami but they should have absolutely pasted the living **** out of Miami by 50 points in that game, and had those special teams blunders and still covered the spread. That is what is currently keeping me off of ECU. 2-0 vs. 0-2....everyone is in love with ECU and VTECH now is a piece of ****, yet the line is -19 1/2.....i said it last week when the OSU line was out, the oddsmaker was begging you to take Miami. Same thing here IMO. VTECH was flat off that Boise loss and paid for it, and is ECU really that great of a football team after beating Tulsa at home and then beating a horrendous Memphis team??? Their defense is AWFUL for openers.....

To me this is the classic Joe Public what was the last thing I saw line and I wouldn't be a bit shocked to see a 48-10 game here in VTECH's favor. They are embarassed and are going to take it out on ECU IMO.

For what it's worth this new guy completely agrees with your VA Tech reasoning. Haven't pulled the trigger yet because the line seems to still be moving but GL with your plays :thumbs:

Flyers...couldn't you also argue that had not Harris thrown some God-awful interceptions and the Miami team as a whole didn't drop so many passes/INTs, Miami could not only have covered, but possibly have walked out of Ohio Stadium with a SU win? The #s outside of turnover ratio were pretty much similar...and I'm not going to buy the special teams argument b/c Barclay's impact with 5 FGs pretty much neutralizes the Miami TD returns.

I don't know what this means for ECU vs. VT...two completely different stories coming in as opposed to Miami/OSU. The Buckeyes didn't lose to Marshall the previous week.

I'm staying on ECU +18....I watched this line move from 17.5 to 19.5 and then settle at 18. I'll gladly take the 3 scores and hope ECU continues to take their Wheaties Saturday morning.

VT had a short week, a hangover from the Boise game and played a hungry, very good FCS team. Look at what happened last week with Kansas vs. Ga Tech. I see a blowout.

I don't want to turn Flyers thread into a discussion thread, but Texas Tech as a home dog is on my radar. TEX is a much less dangerous team this year and I like getting 3.5 at home in a racous setting.

Damn I needed you for the reverse lock on that OSU game? OSU by DD? What do you think bout the ND/MSU game this week? Not betting it either way but was just curious what you thought...MSU usually handle ND no matter where they play, but MSU hasn't impressed me too much in their games with FAU and WMU and well ND never impresses me..LOL :laughing:

Agree that VT wakes up this week and pummels ECU. This entire card this week is not that good. To many lines seems F'ed up.

These lines scream Take the favorite but seem to easy.

I see the reason VT is a heavy fave, but IMO not enough reason to lay the chalk there. VT defense is not what it once was. Play the over there will be tds galore in that one :thumbs:

Udog- I have my eye on the VTECH team over and game over numbers but not out yet. Hoping for a team total in the 30's and a game total in the high 50's.
