Went 2-1 last week on posted ATS plays. Won a couple other plays I didn't post; overall up 2.2 units.
This week I'm staying away from any teasers and parlays and just going with the following for 1.8 units a pop:
West Virginia -13.5
WVU looked mediocre in week one, which is why I think this line is where its at. They'll improve in week 2 against an in-state rival they usually dominate. WVU's defense will shut down Marshall and Devine will run all over the Herd. Expect a 17-20 pt win.
BYU -1
Fresh off a nice win, BYU faces a test against the Flyboys, who put up 65 on a crap I-A team. But AF also looked suspect on defense and are missing several starters to injury. I'll take the Cougars here, who should be able to march up and down the field.
Hawaii +2
This is a weird game, and I got sucked into playing it. I'm not buying the long trip as an excuse; Hawaii's superior athleticism should prevail. I don't see how Army will be able to keep up on the scoreboard in this one. As long as Hawaii doesn't fall into an early hole, I expect a SU win.
LSU -10.5
I don't think LSU is getting respect after nearly blowing the game against UNC. But the truth is that they should have beaten the Heels by 14-20. And UNC is a better squad than Vandy, who dropped a tight one to an average Northwestern team. I think LSU wins this one by two scores easily as long as they dont allow a backdoor cover.
That's all for now...GL all! :booz:
