AUB by the way 17-1 L18 SEC Openers. Some SERIOUS trends AUB way in that game both series and spot. Not saying AUB is the play but just mentioning the way things line up. 9-1 SU L10 meetings with MISSST too.

One other trend in CFB is that teams usually show their greatest improvement during the season in the 2nd game. Might be interesting to keep an eye on some of these teams that laid eggs in week 1 like Florida, Texas.....the entire big east.......big east still sucks.....:blackeye:....etc.....also teams breaking in new coaches and new systems like Nostra Damus, Cincy etc.....

The Auburn line looks fishy as hell, and the line movement is heading towards Miss St. I think Miss St will be much improved this year, and they always play well at home. On the flip side of that, not sure they've improved enough to beat Auburn, but I'm not sold on Auburn's defense being any better than last year.

A few that stand out for me

        Georgia +3 @ So Carolina
If Uga gets good QB play I think they can win the SEC East. They are loaded at every other position offensively, and defensively they look pretty stout in the front seven. Perhaps Garcia is good enough to beat them through the air, but I think Georgia is better at almost every position on the field except DB's and maybe QB.

        Miami +9.5 @ Ohio St
There's alot of hype surrounding "Young" Pryor (as everyone likes to call him). Ohio St should control the line of the scrimmage on the defensive side of the ball, but I don't see them having an easy time moving against Miami either. I don't think Pryor will have the luxury of having an overly successful ground game to help out the air attack, ala Oregon. Miami's dline will go on average 20lbs bigger than what Oregon was throwing out there, and will probably match the speed. I think it'll be in the 20-17 area for OSU, but I can't imagine the game going much over 44.

        Alabama -11.5 vs Penn St
I'm probably square here but I think Penn St is going to get clobbered. I think Alabama's weakness will be their secondary, which I don't see PSU exploiting. I do think PSU has the advantage in the trenches on offense, but if they can't throw the ball then Bama will just stack 8 in the box all game and shut them down. Just looking at rosters I don't think Bama is the best team in the nation, so I'm not going solely on them being #1 here, but I think they make for a solid play here ATS and a great teaser play.

Also have general leans on Michigan, Stanford, and Air Force.

I have been trying to find something that jumps out at me this week but so far I'm not seeing it. I do think South Carolina will cover (I am a little biased, lol) although I do think it could be close. There is usually that one game though that stands out and based on play from week 1 I am stumped. This weekend is going to be awesome. :beerbang:

Those stats on Auburn are pretty convincing, but the line does not give me any indications Auburn is the play. Tough call.
