hey to everyone here. hope you are all off to a good start. i am gonna post the plays i bet over the course of the season with whatever reasons i have for liking each play. instead of posting units like most do i am just gonna post how much i am actually betting. i have started with a 500 dollar roll and hopefully we can watch it grow. i will contribute to the forum any way i can this season with my thoughts and opinions. will really get started next week with bigger bets because i usually sit out week one. i am off work monday though and will play the two games small for fun. gl to all of you guys this season and i look foward to talking sports with you. here we go.
maryland vs navy. i think a lot of people are liking navy here. i am thinking it may be a really good game though. terps are bringing a lot back from a team that was competitive last season. i know they only won two games, but they did compete. they have playmakers returning from last season at rb and wr, and i think they have an advantage over the navy d with speed and athletic ability. i also look at the fact that this is the first game of the year. every other team navy plays this year will be at a disadvantage by having a short time to prepare for a style of offense they will only see once this season. maryland has the advantage of a lot of time to prepare. the linebackers are easily the stregnth of this defense, and i think they will do a solid job of slowing the navy running game. playmakers and speed at the skill positions will keep maryland close in my opinion and give them a chance to win. not a strong play either way, but i will take maryland +6.5 for 15 dollars to win 13.50.
if the maryland game looks like a winner then i will be back to post a play on the late game. if not i will not bet it. dont want to waste any of my original roll on a huge public game that could go either way. i think there will be a lot of games i like next week looking at the lineup, and i think it will be a much easier week to cap games and pick winners. good luck again to all of you guys. i look foward to working with you all this season. i will never look at any of your opinions and call you stupid or attack you for what you think. i hope everyone will show me that same respect. it is bad enough to lose your money on a game without someone yelling i told you so.
