Vt was just wrong side flat-out. Got too cute. Big ten was an underdog in every game on new years, so not sure why it's such a surprise to "experts." No disrespect to psu or Michigan but they weren't better than Iowa this year and got put in a bad spot by the outback and gator. Michigan was a putrid team and the Gator got what it deserved. There is also no shame in losing to 3 Sec teams, as they are clearly the best conference. Bama might be the second best team in the nation playing in the Cap One bowl.
On the flip side Tough to win when only 1 team in the conference has a top 25 recruiting rank for 2011. It's a further embarrassment when Texas has almost twice as many 4 star verbals (16) as psu has total verbals (9). Could probably go on about the cfb landscape forever, but the fact of the matter is the b10 is fighting an uphill battle, whether the evil emperor (delaney) likes to admit it or not.
Arkansas +3.5 / +145
Liked two teams alot coming into the year and faded one last night. The other is arky. Again I think the arky defense will be the most underrated unit on the field. Osu is a prideful b10 program, unlike most others, but arky is dynamic on offense and much more battle tested defensively.
BOL to ya Hodown.....I lived in Arkinsaw for a couple of years and became a Hog fan! Still have my hog hat. And of course since I was born and raised a Buckeye I have allegiances to them as well. Tough choice for me and hoping that OSU can finally win over an SEC team. I'll have on my OSU sweatshirt and my Arky hat rooting for the Bucks even though I have the Hogs capped as the side.
Batman:"If you can't spend it, money's just a lot of worthless paper, isn't it?" :phew:
