LOS ANGELES - Ohio State coach Jim Tressel will have as healthy a team as he’s had all season when his Buckeyes play Oregon in the Rose Bowl, he said at his final news conference before Friday's game.
On Monday, his quarterback, Terrelle Pryor, surprised media members by revealing that he had a partial tear in the posterior cruciate ligament of one of his knees. Pryor did not reveal which knee or how and when he sustained the injury.
Tressel said he and his coaching staff, along with the team’s trainers and doctors, do not talk about injuries.
“The young people can, if they choose to,” Tressel said Thursday.
Tresel said Pryor, who also had an ankle injury early in November, has shown no problems in practice.
