Some thoughts on the games

Air Force - I think they are the more motivated team and will be able to control tempo and keep Houston off the field. It may be a little sloppy early but there experience with this offense should help. Houston may not be as excited to be there since the mid season rankings may have raised the expectations. I also don't like seeing Houston getting pounded by everyone and their brother.

OU - Having seen Stanford a few times Luck really was the key to their season. He opened up running lanes for Gerhart because teams had to respect the pass or he was going the distance. I don't expect him to play and I think it gets ugly (like last night) with no Luck. If Luck plays, I think he won't be sharp and it will be closer to a 2 TD game. Either way I expect lots of running from Stanford in an effort to soften the OU defense. OU offense should move the ball fine until it shoots itself in the foot. I'm seeing 30ish to 7 with no Luck and 30-17 with Luck.

Middies - Always get a good effort out of the middies while Missouri is a different story. If Alexander is contained a little I think Navy wins outright. But more likely it is decided on the last score.

Iowa St.- Improving team excited to be in a bowl vs team in same bowl for 3rd time in 4 years without their best WR and much of an offense in general.

VT - I trust Taylor more and VT will be prepared for this defense as they have faced several very good defenses this year. Both teams will be well prepared but I prefer the consistency that VT showed throughout the year vs the up and down performance of UT.

Was looking at a nice start of 2-0 and withstanding back to back kickoff returns to start the 2nd half until Air Force takes a run 71 yards when a first down would have ended the game. Awesome!:beerbang::beerbang:
