1-1-1 yesterday and exactly even unit wise. Could have gotten +2.5 with NC had I played it earlier, but it stands to reason that I didn't, since looking back I haven't really made many wise decisions yet this bowl season
No need to repost record, it didn't really change
Sunday:
Kentucky +6.5
Clemson/Spiller get all the ESPN love here, while I don't think I've heard a word about Kentucky the entire season, but I like the fact that I can get any SEC team and +6.5 against a team from the ACC.
Going with the motivation factor for Temple who hasn't played in a bowl game in 30 years over an UCLA team whom i'm hoping won't be thrilled to death to travel east and play in some toilet bowl in cold as **** weather, and quite honestly plays bigger games than this in conference
A bit of tough luck on Temple with them failing to go up 28-10 early in the 3rd qtr, mainly it seemed because of a bad spot on 3rd down. Once the momentum started rolling against em, they couldn't stop it.
Wisky proved what happens when ACC teams are favored over basically anyone out of conference though. Imagine when VT plays Tennessee as a -6 fave over an SEC school.
As it is, an underwhelming 1-1 yesterday and +8 units possible turned into -0.40 units because dumbass Temple couldn't get it done for a full game. Props to UCLA though for not folding the tent in the cold weather when they were behind.
bowls record: 5-8 -8.40
Wednesday:
Arizona +3
4 units
Bowling Green +1
BG/Idaho under 69
Arizona/Nebraska over 41
Yea, knew I was on the wrong side of the Tennessee game when I saw Lang was 75 dimer on them, and some of the other comments I read around the net.
Feel like I was easily on the right side of OU though. Look at the stats. They're as lopsided as you'll ever see in a game where the line isn't -30, and OU got dicked hard by that call where they said the guy was "blocked into" the guy making the catch on the punt.
Oh well. Can't do anything about it. Still 3-2
New Years Day:
Florida St +3 -120
Penn St +1
Ohio St +4.5
4 units each
Auburn -8.5
Florida -12.5
3 units each
Yea, I'm aware Lang is on Florida for 75 dimes and it will no doubt be another big game loser, but I like them to totally dominate the Bearkittens who can't stop anyone on defense,. I think they're the biggest undefeated farce this side of Boise St, and possibly the worst undefeated team ever next to Hawaii 2 years ago who got belted hard by Georgia in this same Sugar Bowl (i'm pretty sure it was the Sugar Bowl anyway) and am too stubborn to change my mind. An undefeated team catching nearly 2 TD's in a bowl game tells you what the oddsmakers think will happen imo, so of course all of that means Cincinnati will win outright :puke:
