La Tech has 225 yds and 28 pts.

Boise has no right to declare they deserve a BCS bid. They looked lame vs. Tulsa as well.

they would lose 3-4 games in the big10 i don't care who they played home/away.

funny thing is that they TRIED to step up their schedule and they played Georgia about 3 or 4 years ago....they got taking behind the woodshed before the game was 10 minutes old....came crawing back to Boise with their tail between their legs...haven't seen 'em venture anywhere since. At least Pat Hill and Fresno DO adhere to the play anyone anywhere motto....Boise will duck anyone anywhere and then rack up a BS record and claim they are legit.....:puke:

To be fair, I think a lot of schools now duck Boise.

They did spank Oregon earlier this year.

Check out the tough SEC non conf games this week. It is a disgrace. Not as bad as Mich vs. Del State but close. Who the hell wants to see Furman or Tennessee Tech in November. If you cannot name the mascot of the team, you have no right to play them this late in the season.

Choose a better conference and you may be right. Big Ten Stinks. Sorry, I am in Big Ten country and watch that garbage weekly.

Boise St. beat Oklahoma in a BCS bowl a couple years ago. They are a perfect reason why there should be a playoff, then we could see. I like how they beat Oregon this year, yet everyone just discounts them.

And this "If they played in .... conference" doesn't work. There are inherent advantages to being an SEC or Big Ten Institution. The conferences have more money through premium tv contracts, better stadiums, a larger alumni base, tradition, etc....so they can't recruit the same talent level. But I will tell you this, Boise St. is coached as well as any of em.

If you put Boise State in the Big Ten for a good 20 years and gave them the same amount of money for facilities, recruiting, etc....I am sure they would compete just fine. Bottom line is they do more with less on a yearly basis and they shouldn't be punished for it by the BCS snobs and elite. Playoffs please.

First of all, to be clear, I am talking about this year's version of Boise, not the program in general.

Now with that being said, I'm not sure they would be the 7th best team in the SEC, let alone the country. Without a doubt their ranking is bogus, but at the same time I understand they're undefeated and that's how the system works.

I love the fact that people keep overeating this team. Going against them in the right spots is just plain $$$

The best thing that could happen is that they play Oregon again. I guarantee they lose in ugly fashion. Next best would be to put them against fellow "BCS buster" TCU and watch em lose that one too.

There are so many variables to that Oklahoma fiesta bowl too that no one discusses....like oklahoma's likely lack of motivation to be playing a f'n WAC team in the fiesta bowl when their real goal was to be in the NC game, while it was Boise's super bowl, and how Oklahoma dropped way behind early because of it. Sorry, but if that's an NC game, Oklahoma rolls Boise. Just watch the 2h to see how badly they physically dominated them.

I agree that they are well coached and that they do more than a lot of other schools do with less reources to do so, but my bottom line is that while undefeated, this year's Boise squad just isn't that great, and once they play someone, it will show....
