GL today Stif!
However, curious as to the backing of the Illini. Been to all the home games and seen the road games and they've shown me nothing. If not for last week's TD-saving tackle by Hawthorne and the subsequent goalline stand, they were on their way to getting rolled again. They have been running the ball better as of late but other than the 2nd half last week, Juice has been pretty bad. They've especially been brutal on the road, their "best" (in terms of smallest margin of defeat) performance a 10 pt loss to a less-than-stellar PU club that was due for a letdown after their upset win over tOSU. Maybe I'm looking at this game wrong (and I hope I am) but I dunno, I just don't see much today.
I feel like the Illini have underachieved all year, and last week's 2nd half turnaround and subsequent beatdown of Michigan is going to spark them to play some good football at the end of the season. Laying -7 with Minnesota doesn't seem to be a profitable thing to do anyway, but especially not when I expect a + effort from the Illini today. The public still seems to be looking at Illinois the way you just described, and I'm trying to catch what I think is some serious value with a team dare I say "on the rise", at least for the end of this season, before the public catches up.
12-10 +8.1 units yesterday. Lucky I took the ml on Houston and not the -1.5, although the Jacksonville/KC NFL game anally raped those units right back away from me today anyway. EZ winner on the 6 unit Nebraska +5 play, with them only giving up 3 the whole game.
