    NCAAFB Week 8

    Wednesday:

    Tulsa @ UTEP OVER 59.5 (2 Units)
Don't know where Tulsa's heads will be at after that loss to Boise. They played their hearts out. I'll pass on laying the points here even through tulsa is 3-1 on the road with a clunker at Oklahoma(expected). UTEP has done next to nothing this season other than outscore a pretty elite offense of Houston. Have to give a big edge in strength of schedule to UTEP here, another reason why I don't want to lay the points.

Tulsa appears to be a textbook case of a high-octane offense that doesnt match up well with the big boys. (0 @ Oklahoma, 21 vs. Boise) However in 3 games versus opponents around UTEPS skill level, Tulsa has averaged roughly 38 PPG. Tulsa does appear to prefer the run, a spot where UTEPS defense has been especially leaky. UTEP is allowing 200+ yards per game on the ground, and it hasnt seemed to matter whether it was the high powered Longhorns or lowly New Mexico State. Both teams have reliable passing attacks, and seem to work in quick tempo. Weather is expected to be clear, in the low 50's...

    Thursday NIGHT

Well without getting into this too much.. Florida State is one of the most erratic unpredictable teams of the season, but mostly theyve been awful (1-5 ATS).. North Carolina has been just as bad.. looking unimpressive against anything other then mop up opponents... What looked to be a marquee matchup at the beginning of the season is now a matchup of some of the most underacheiving teams of the season.

I'll take the Tar Heels @ Home.. Also expect a few points here as the Florida State defense has basically let everyobody do what they want both on the ground and through the air.. giving up 400+ yards to everyone but Jacksonville State.. who also accumulated 300+

      Friday Night

      Rutgers @ Army UNDER 38.5 (2 Units)

      Unpleasant weather here tonight.
Army, has nothing resembling a passing game... Bad news for them? Rutgers has been stout up front most of the year, allowing 91 rushing yards per game. Rutger's offense isnt exactly a juggernaut here, and its tough to lay the big points on the road. Expecting plenty of punts and field goals tonight.
