    Daws1089's Week 6 Plays

    ytd:7-7-1 -1.85 units

Off to a wedding this weekend so I have to get my plays in early.

    Arkansas/Auburn Over 66

I see a lot of people this week, not necessarily here, but people I've talked to that think this is way too many points. Auburn's offense is preety potent. Last week it was contained a little by a good Tennessee defense, but they can put up points in a hurry. ISU guy has really got them playing well. Arkansas should be able to move the ball too. If Ark gets behind they will most definitely be taking shots down the field, but they will be throwing the ball all over the field. By setting a number this high and almost 68% on the under, I'm rolling over and looking at a 38-35 type game.

    Virginia Tech -13.5

Was this line a shock to anyone else? Seems like a ton of points for Tech to be giving, but BC is off a big 4th quarter win against FSU and now has to go on the road. VT played terrible last week at Duke giving up a ton of points (26). Either they had a let down after the Miami game or they were looking ahead to this game. I think the line says it all about how confident they books are in VT. Traditionally this is a close game, but I suspect other wise.

    Michigan/Iowa Under 48

As much as I like Rich Rod and his schemes, I have no idea how they will move the ball on Iowa on the road. They struggled to score until late in the MSU game which is surprising bc MSU defense really is not good. Iowa should be able to run and run and run. 48 is a bit too high I think. Maybe lower 40's. I hope Rich Rod doesn't come up with some spectacular game plan. One thing that worries me is that UM might come out slinging the ball bc they know they won't be able to run much.

The under in that Iowa game is the right play. Even if Mich comes out slinging it Iowa usually does a good job of playing contain defense. Stanzi already has two pick sixes and that's a concern however, but you can't really cap for that. I see it 24-17 with either team winning
