    NCAACFB Week3

had an awesome time @ the TENN game. People are really very nice....hats off to the "Banditos" as well.....:beerbang:...i would really recommend seeing a game there sometime if anyone has the opportunity. And look for my guys "the banditos"....:beerbang:

there was a point in the 3Q where UCLA was up 19-10 and you could have literally heard a pin drop...quietest 102,000 ive heard but they got it cranked up in the 4Q and that stadium was loud....UCLA brought a good crowd, especially for their standards....got front row for the "vol walk"....muscled out about 30 cousin skeeters to get the spot.......also managed to sneak into GTECH and Vandy's stadiums.....i kind of liked GTECHS field.....Vandy's was cool, but small. Their gym was awesome though.....also took in a braves game...that stadium didn't do much for me...but bought 2 5.00 tickets and sat behind home plate....that is how many people were there (will have to say it was sprinkling so that may have kept people away).

UAZ/IOWA Under43 -120..........i like both defenses and i don't like the offenses here. UAZ moves up and down the field and can't score points and IOWA offense hasn't impressed me either. I think UAZ will have a conservative game plan in their first road game with a freshman QB as well.

SYR +3..................NWU just 3-9 L12 as a favorite and i think SYR has a decent defense. Offense is lacking but still not sure about NWU being a FG favorite on the road.

TOL +21...............2-0 so far this year betting the Buckeyes and this week i'll take 3 TD's with that offense and the weapons they have on the outside. I am not really sure how focused OSU is going to be this week and the game is actually a neutral site game played in Cleveland. OSU has historically really struggled with the instate teams like Ohio, Cincinnati, BGSU etc whose rosters are full of kids that wanted to play at OSU but were spurned.....i am really not sold on Richard Pryor at QB either. To me he is possibly one of the most overrated QB's to come out of HS in ages. I'm not even convinced OSU is going to win this game actually. They have a really big game on deck to start conference play as they host Illinois. I can't see Toledo getting pasted by 3 TD's here and im honestly shocked the line came where it did which kind of scares me a tad bit.

on a side note on last week's debacle at the shoe.....Richard Pryor for OSU is nothing more than a poor man's Vince Young (the pro edition). Herby had it right when he said how lost he looked in the 2 minute drill...then there were the bad turnovers, bad throws, bad reads. I think the guy may go down as the most overhyped QB ever to come out of HS. You can count on him to make AT LEAST 2 or 3 bonehead game changing plays in every game. I have never seen a team find a way to lose every big game more than OSU. That MIA game is lonnnnnngggg in the rearview mirror.

    GL to everyone!

strongly considering SYR and TOL this week.

Damn...so you're telling me OSU almost knocked off USC with a dead actor/comedian at QB. :out:

I like the under in the Cats game. Lots of Grigsby. No Gronkowski...more Grigsby.

My older brother went to Vandy and I used to visit him when he was there and I was still in high school. Nashville is a fun f*cking town. I guess a lot of places are when you're 17 and have a good fake id  Seirously though, live music, cheep booze and good pretty southern women. WTF am I doing in San Francisco?
its my way or the lame way.

agree Flyers, I like Iowa and the under again. Iowa laying that egg against UNI is giving them some value two weeks in a row. UA is a ground offense and Iowa is a contain defense, so I think anything at 42 or more deserves an under look.

Q- THX!...shook hands with Neuheisel on Friday...never washing that hand again.

G$$- Nashville was a fun town. Went up and down there where all the hole in the wall country places are and there are a million bars of all types down there. I'm sure Vandy would be a fun school to go to.....but they don't have Dirtbags..... I would be shocked BTW if the Cats won this week and what is the deal with Gronkowski??

Hodown- THX!...like Iowa but i like the Under better. UAZ has amassed a lot of yards but can't score points and i think defenses will rule the day here....at least i hope....and IOWA is a good team to back at home in games like this. Sneaky tough place to play if the Hawks are ready. And BTW...props to Roy Marble for getting canned from his youth position due to drug use....:ohman:

BOL to ya Flyer.....love the Orange this week! I was gonna take UT as well, but they can't stop the run and if ya watched that game they rely on the big play.....don't think the Bucks will give those up but it should be a closer game than expected.

Mark it on your calendar.....Friday, October 9.....Massillon Tigers at Steubenville Big Red....the 66 game home winning streak in Death Valley will be on the line! Massillon gets St. Ignatius the week before so I'll be Steubie is hoping they get a little beat up....

No Dirtbags in Nashville. And no this....

                  Damn I miss Arizona...

Gronkowski has a back problem and he hasn't been 100% since spring. I guess he tried to go this week but they're holding him back. He's out, but hopefully only a week or two away.

110 previews and i have to go to page 11 to find my post from 2 days ago...:bang:

                    ADD:

FREST +9 (betus special)...........grabbed this one earlier.....something tells me this is going to be a more competitive game than most think. I think BOIST will probably come home with the win in the end, and the fact that this is BOIST coming to town should more than offset any letdown from blowing the Wisconsin game last weekend. Honestly, i don't think BOIST has really been tested this year. Miami(oh) might be one of the 10 worst teams in D1 and Oregon I haven't exactly been impressed with either. This should be BOIST best test so far. Would love to see the Fighting Pat Hills pull the upset.

                    GL to everyone!

I'm taking a Pat Hill mustache ride with you tomorrow night. I only got 7.5 but meeeee thinks the FPH's just might pull the su win.
