had an awesome time @ the TENN game. People are really very nice....hats off to the "Banditos" as well.....:beerbang:...i would really recommend seeing a game there sometime if anyone has the opportunity. And look for my guys "the banditos"....:beerbang:
there was a point in the 3Q where UCLA was up 19-10 and you could have literally heard a pin drop...quietest 102,000 ive heard but they got it cranked up in the 4Q and that stadium was loud....UCLA brought a good crowd, especially for their standards....got front row for the "vol walk"....muscled out about 30 cousin skeeters to get the spot.......also managed to sneak into GTECH and Vandy's stadiums.....i kind of liked GTECHS field.....Vandy's was cool, but small. Their gym was awesome though.....also took in a braves game...that stadium didn't do much for me...but bought 2 5.00 tickets and sat behind home plate....that is how many people were there (will have to say it was sprinkling so that may have kept people away).
UAZ/IOWA Under43 -120..........i like both defenses and i don't like the offenses here. UAZ moves up and down the field and can't score points and IOWA offense hasn't impressed me either. I think UAZ will have a conservative game plan in their first road game with a freshman QB as well.
SYR +3..................NWU just 3-9 L12 as a favorite and i think SYR has a decent defense. Offense is lacking but still not sure about NWU being a FG favorite on the road.
TOL +21...............2-0 so far this year betting the Buckeyes and this week i'll take 3 TD's with that offense and the weapons they have on the outside. I am not really sure how focused OSU is going to be this week and the game is actually a neutral site game played in Cleveland. OSU has historically really struggled with the instate teams like Ohio, Cincinnati, BGSU etc whose rosters are full of kids that wanted to play at OSU but were spurned.....i am really not sold on Richard Pryor at QB either. To me he is possibly one of the most overrated QB's to come out of HS in ages. I'm not even convinced OSU is going to win this game actually. They have a really big game on deck to start conference play as they host Illinois. I can't see Toledo getting pasted by 3 TD's here and im honestly shocked the line came where it did which kind of scares me a tad bit.
on a side note on last week's debacle at the shoe.....Richard Pryor for OSU is nothing more than a poor man's Vince Young (the pro edition). Herby had it right when he said how lost he looked in the 2 minute drill...then there were the bad turnovers, bad throws, bad reads. I think the guy may go down as the most overhyped QB ever to come out of HS. You can count on him to make AT LEAST 2 or 3 bonehead game changing plays in every game. I have never seen a team find a way to lose every big game more than OSU. That MIA game is lonnnnnngggg in the rearview mirror.
GL to everyone!
