Week 2 college football predictions

YTD 6-14 -9.40 Units
Favorites: 2-4 -2.40
Underdogs: 4-7 -4.70
Overs: 0-0
Unders: 0-3 -3.30 units

Looking to rebound after a really crappy start. Watched a ton of games last weekend and feel like I've got a pretty good grasp of what a few teams are looking like this year.

USC -7. I can't believe Im taking USC. Freshman QB at the shoe, road fav. Yuck. I tell ya though... USC has some sickening players. Talent-wise, they are WAY better than this OSU team. The Buckeyes made a very average Navy team look GOOD. Yikes. USC basically toyed with SJ State last week. They won by a ton and barely even tried. USC always seems to F up in big games (I can still see Vince Young runner all over the field!) and Bozo the Carroll is really my least fav. coach in the NCAA, but I'm gonna be a square and lay the 7. Not happy about it, but I see such a disparity in quickness and to be perfectlly candid, I'm not a fan of Terrelle Pryor despite him being labeled as king ****. **** I hate USC. Gotta bet with head though. (loss)

Louisiana Tech +7 Speaking of Navy (above) they looked pretty good last week. With that being said, I believe they're overvalued this week. I know some sharps that are hitting Louisiana Tech pretty heavy so I'm going to play them based on being overvalued and riding the coattails of a couple guys that win consistently in cfb. (loss)

Utah -13.5 This is the best team in college foots that most people don't know about. Home/Road, doesn't matter this team is bad ass. SJ State isn't as bad as they looked at USC, but they're not good enough to keep up with the Utes. (loss)

Middle Tennessee State -1 I don't know **** about this team. I do know that Memphis sucks and I do expect Flyersfan or Boilerbacker to come into this thread and egg me about a Memphis moneyline wager we made in Vegas a couple years ago based on some good info I had. Memphis then promptly went out and lost by like 40 points. Flyers/Boiler... this is the day we get our loot back. Middle Tennessee St. looks solid, oh yeah, and I got this info from a good source! (You Bastards) LOL (win)

East Carolina +6.5 Wrong team favored. I believe they win straight up here. Getting no respect from the public. While Devine is a FAST little scatback who I love to watch play, this ain't your Mountaineer team that had the dynamic duo of Pat White/Steve Slaton. I really do like E Car. to win straight up, but am happy to take the 6.5. (loss)

Air Force +3 Minnesota beat Syracuse. Big deal. From the looks of it, they appear to not be gelling on offense yet. Air Force is nothing to write home about but sharp action is coming in on the Falcons moving the line from 5 down to 3 and this is another dog I believe will win straight up. (loss)

Oregon -12 Yeah they looked like **** last week at Boise State. Don't forget that they held the Broncos to 19 points though. The defense surprised me, as after losing Nick Reed, Patrick Chung, Darius Byrd looked like a disaster in the making but Chip's defense ain't looking too bad. Fellas, this is a WHOLE different team at home vs. the road. Many people that know the game of college football well and that have attended a game at Autzen Stadium agree that they have one of the filthiest home field advantages in the game. Look for a super loud crowd of tree hugging bastards who rode to the game on recycled green bicycles and chicks with hairy pits eating granola bars to cause more than a few false starts on the Purdue offense. The rest of the time the Boilermakers will be chasing some speedy RB or WR towards the endzone because Purdue has NO defense. The Ducks will put up a **** load of yardage both on the ground and through the air. Im forecasting a 17 point win, maybe more. (loss)

Arkansas State +21 Probably not a real popular pick here but I've read some good stuff about Arky State. Yeah, they beat up some crap team last week, Im not really factoring that in because Nebraska is a solid team but 3 scoresj is a bunch. Nebraska rolls them but Arky St. gets the cover. (loss)

Wake Forest -3 I love the situational handicapping variable where you go against a west coast team traveling east for an early game. Gametime is 9am Stanford time and these guys are gonna have to be out of bed at like what, 4am? to get ready for the game? I look to see some foggy play from a much improved Stanford team that will play well this year but this is a real **** spot for them. An average Wake team beats a better Stanford team by 10. (winner)

Games I want to pick soooo bad but don't have the balls to play:

Michigan +3. This team has to prove to me that they have heart before I risk loot on them. They got their asses handed to them last year and yeah, that was last year but I gotta see it to believe it. Freshmen QB's scare the **** out of me. I don't care for Charlie Weis as a coach either. I've seen him smile too much while losing which tells me he either hits up a doobie before the games or he doesn't belong as the coach of a team like ND. Im no fan of Clausen but he's better than avg.

I would LOVE to take Wyoming +32 but every damn time I bet vs. Texas, they score 59 points. This will be the odd game that Texas only scores 28 just because I'm not on it. I can feel it in my bones. There is value with Wyoming and ****, underdogs cover something like 67% historically for teams getting 32 or more points. Despite all the variables being there, Im going to pass.

Id love to take Tulane too. Getting 18 at home is pretty fat. BYU getting all kinds of newfound respect since they waxed OU. Letdown could happen, line is probably overblown because of all the hype, the problem is BYU may be as good as we saw last week. I need some more time to assess them before I go playing against them.

Iowa State +6. Seems like these games between them and the Hawkeyes are always a battle. Iowa lost their RB for the season and i question their ability to score their QB sucks too. Iowa State probably covers, but gut feeling tells me to pass.

Mississippi State +14. This game should be a battle Auburn will probaby win but I dont see this game being more than a touchdown in margin. Lotsa unknowns, would like to see both teams for a game or two more before getting comfy with either.

Buffalo +10.5. Ive read a **** load about how Pittsburgh will win this game by 3 td's. Dave Wannstedt is to college football like Dusty Baker is to MLB. (horrible coach/manager). Things never seems to pan out the way it looks on paper when this guy is involved.

I'm going to study these "no balls" plays and may come back later adding them as plays.

Good Luck Ya'll!

kidding around...but ole Purdue has played pretty well so far except for a couple of bad INTs.

My Ducks stink. They were in total disarray most of the game.

That Purdue RB sure looks good.
