LOL @ Charlie Weis and Notre Dame for blowing that game with the celebration penalty and then the idiotic calls to pass 50 yards downfield instead of running the ball and the clock.

    8pm and later:

    Ohio St +7 -105
    New Mexico +17 +100
    Oregon -13
    San Jose St +14 -105
    UNLV +7

    2 units each

LOL Chuck Weis looked like he could have been Bill Parcells' twin brother yesterday.

After all that, looks like 13-11 and +2.10 units Saturday and 14-13 and +1.90 units for the entire week 2.

Got hosed on the LSU line, as it was -14 while I was making my bets and changed to -14.5 just as I was putting them in. I honestly didn't think it would matter in their home opener, but maybe they're not all that great this year? Got burned by a Vandy safety in that game.

I also can't believe how bad COLORADO SUCKS. After blowing super bad vs COL ST, I felt the books were really taking a stand on them to come back strong, favoring them by -4 AT Toledo, and maybe they were....but if they were, they were wrong, and so was I in thinking they were worth a poo. They BLOW. How many years does Hawkins get to prove he's a tool there in COLORADO?

Feel bad for Ohio St.....but then again not really, lol. Those guys had every opportunity to put that game away, and it's their own fault they lost. Ohio ST definitely should have won outright, imo, but a cover is fine with me, lol

And WTF with Oregon? They must suck too. I should have known when the whole world seemed to be on them....but I saw that as a prime bounce back spot against a Purdue team I thought would struggle on the road in a normally really tough place to play. Didn't watch the game, but the score indicates Oregon was lucky to even escape with the win.

Also honorable mention LOL's to Oklahoma St and Michigan St

Stiff - In the Oregon game Purdue really moved the ball at will on their defense. The WR's were wide open for most of the game and they were just playing pitch and catch in the 10-15 yard range. They were also able to run the ball effectively when they needed to for 6-7 yards a clip. That being said Oregon had plenty of chances to blow the game open in the second half. They dropped an easy ball that would have turned into a long touchdown when it hit the Wr in the chest with no one around him. And they struggled to run the read option as Masoli didn't have a good feel for his backs, probably because they shuffled them in and out so much and he probably hasn't worked with them too much in practice. As their timing gets better and he gets more comfortable with them their read option should improve in the coming weeks. They were also pretty explosive in the return game and had two gifts that their defense returned for TD's. As the books get down on them a little I think they may have some value in the next few weeks as their offensive cohesion builds.
