dang.....summer is gone.....:bang:
SCAR/NCST Under47 -120............just think this is best played under the number rather than a side. Like NCST in this one but i fully expect SCAR defense to play well and they do have some major issues on the offensive side of the ball. Probably the first team to 20-23 points wins this one. Trends line up well in this one as well......SCAR 6-0 L6 UNDER First month of season. I think that is with good reason as their defense is usually still fresh and usually very good while their offense always struggles in the early going or any going for that matter. NCST is 13-3 UNDER on Thursday games for whatever that is worth. I have NCST winning the game 23-13.
NAVY +23-120................just a lot of things not going OSU's way in this one. They are just 4-8 as a favorite at home L12 and have stuggled mightily to play focused games early in the season. They barely and i mean barely squeaked by some really crappy teams like Ohio last year, an awful SDSU team and a bad Cincy team in recent years too. Not to mention OSU has USC on deck and every kid returning has probably had that game circled. NAVY on the other hand checks in at a very respectable 40-15 ATS in their L55 games as a road dog. This is a team that won't quit in this game which is always nice when you are playing a dog. They return what many consider to be a very good defense by NAVY standards, and their QB has been touted as probably the best passer at NAVY in a long long time. Plus i highly doubt Tressel is going to run it up against NAVY. Not that kind of coach. Probably a game in which OSU looks to work on some new things and get out of this game feeling good and with no injuries. Game will ultimately be won on the line where OSU is just much bigger and better. But if they don't play assigment football on the option they could get a fight from NAVY. Workmanlike 31-14 effort from the Buckeyes.
SJSU/USC UNDER50 -120............some good numbers to support this. SJSU 7-0 UNDER L7 as a road dog and USC 11-0 UNDER L11 home games. Plus i think this game sets up for an under. USC breaking in a Freshman QB who is going to be without one of his wideouts. I look for a very conservative game called by USC and lots and lots of the RB by commitee for USC, with safe throws worked in for Barkley. USC needs to get him some confidence going into the horseshoe to get his ass handed to him next Saturday. USC should sport a very good defense and I like what i've read about SJSU's defense as well. Tomey always calls a conservative game in big games going back to his Arizona days when they popped some big upsets and almost upsets (came about 3 inches away from beating an undefeated Miami team on the road in the early 90's) which is probably why the UNDER has hit so regularly when his team has been listed as an underdog......and this one will probably be no different. And USC flat out doesn't allow many points at home period.
SJSU +34 -120...................like this play as well. Hate playing both side and total but i really couldn't pick one over the other so screw it. Playin' 'em both...lol. I think SJSU has the weapons to hang with USC, especially with USC playing a freshman QB in his first start. Tomey is a good coach and i think SJSU keeps this one inside the number. USC-31 SJSU-13
KY -700/OKLA -1800/TXAM -550/CAL -1600/OSU -2000 (-169) ........if any of those teams lose their coach should resign on the spot.
also looking at the UNR/ND game Over and a couple of other ones including some really bad teams in OHIO and EMU.
Hope everyone kills it this year.....
GL to everyone!
