    Interesting trends??

    some things to wonder about, and info I found while trolling around on a very rainy cool/rainy day...
    5* play AGAINST MICH ML when game is on grass. Mich is 2-8 in last 2 years.
    5* play AGAINST UAB ML in home games vs. conference opponents. 18-19 since '92.
    5* play AGAINST TOLEDO ML in all Sat games in Sept. 2-5 last 3 seasons.
    5* play ON WISC ML in all non-conference games. 34-10 since '92.
    5* play AGAINST ARMY ML in road Sept games. 1-12 since '92.
    5* play AGAINST WASH ML on ALL Sat games. 3-17 for last 3 seasons.
    4* play AGAINST WASH spread on all posted line games. 1-11 last 2 years.
    3* play AGAINST E MICH spread in all non-conference games. 6-24 since '92.
    3* play ON NAVY in all posted Saturday road games. 67-27 since '92.
    3* play AGAINST MICH spread when game is on grass. 1-10 last 2 years.
    2* play ON GA spread in non-conference road games. 20-5 since '92.
    O/U's
    4* play U TENN on grass fields. 1-11 last 2 years.
    4* play O OKLA in 1st half total when fav. 11-1 last 2 years.
    4* play O OKLA in game total when fav. 11-1 last 2 years.
    3* play U N.ILL on 1st half total in all turf games. 0-8 last 2 years.

    The ratings are not mine, just part of the info I found. Just an FYI for the 1st weekend games. BOL to all.

    i am a trend guy and thanks a ton for posting those first off...:thumbs:

    but if you look at a lot of them they are really a product of how a team has been and not really has anything to do with being a good trend. I think trends can be used in matchups, for instance say AFA and Utah have played under the total the last 5 meetings....stuff like that. But a lot of those are really just the team's record.

    For example Washington is 3-17 on Saturdays L20 games. Washington sucks ass. They would probably be 3-17 on Friday, Tuesday, Monday or any other day ending in "y". But they have a new staff this year and i don't really see that being relevant.

    Same with some others like playing on WIS ML in all non conference games. Heck, i would toss one up to play on PSU on all non conference games. I mean none of those teams every plays anyone.

    I am a fan personally of getting as much information as possible, though. Just think most of those are not really relevant to this season. But as always, that is just my 2 cents which is worth no more and sometimes less than anyone elses...lol.
