    FOR THE SEASON
    Best Bets (10-8)(+3.60 units)
    Strong Plays (15-8)(+12.40 units)
    Regular Plays (37-33)(+0.70 units)

    Overall (62-49)(+16.70 units)

I took a beating last week in college football. It was my first horrible weekend in college football this year, so I am not going to complain about it. You will have this. If that were not the case I would quit my job and gamble for a living and I know I cannot do that. I lost four of five of my top picks for the week. Overall I am still plus over 16 units, so I am still having a decent season instead of a great season. Lets try and get some of that back this weekend.

    COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK ELEVEN

I took a pass on Tuesday and Wednesday night. I would have lost both days.

    Thursday, November 6th

Virgina Tech -3 vs Maryland (regular play)………………….Maryland was supposed to be horrible this year and yet they lead their conference. I just don’t think they are ready to win at Virginia Tech, at team who has owned they recently. Only one unit on this one though. There are better games out there.

TCU -2 ½ vs Utah (regular play)………………Great game for a Thursday night. It just feels too easy to take the home dog here who is higher ranked. Very fishy. I will take TCU but only for a unit again.

Taking a pass on the Friday night game. I have no interest at all in that one. Could not even take a guess.

    Saturday’s Card

Louisville +6 vs Pittsburgh (best bet)………………One thing I have figured out about Pitt is that you cannot figure them out. Or can you? All you have to do is do the opposite of what they are expected to do. Last week they win at Notre Dame and now come home to play a Louisville team who is not as good as we are used to seeing. A game Pitt should never lose at home, but they will. Another anti-Dave play for me this week. Pitt should be undefeated and ranked in the top ten if they had a better coach. Not sure how coach Dave keeps his job. He always upsets somebody they should not and give the university false hope. I am a Pitt fan and I hate him. Those of you who read my post on a regular basis already know that.

Indiana +9 ½ vs Wisconsin (best bet)………………….Neither team worthy of being this big a favorite, especially on the road. Wisky having a down year and probably just want to get this season over with. I don’t see how they get up for this team. More to gain for Indiana in this one. I would not be shocked to see Indy win this game outright, but don’t want to get greedy and play the moneyline. Getting 9 ½ is fine with me.

Vanderbilt +24 vs Florida (strong play)…………………How could Florida not have a letdown after last week? Vandy has come back down to earth after a magical start, but they are still definitely a decent team, especially at home. They have always been known as good home dogs and now they are getting 24 points. I think this line is a joke. I normally only play two best bets, and I really like my first two games, but I just had to make this a best bet as well. Vandy has no shot of winning this game, but they have a great chance of covering. No great reasons for making this pick other than some good old fashioned common sense.

Kentucky +10 ½ vs Georgia (strong play)………….Playing another SEC home dog. It is hard to go real wrong playing SEC home dogs. Georgia last week blew any chance they had last week and I think they can only go down here from here on out. I don’t see Georgia caring about this game all that much. Kentucky has much more to gain for their program with a win and it will show in how they play this week. Kentucky should get an easy cover this week.

Iowa +7 ½ vs Penn State (strong play)………….Takes some guts going against Penn State here. PSU feels they got screwed in the BCS standings and everybody expecting them to come out with a chip on their shoulder and win easily. Not me. This is the last regular season game where they even have a chance of losing or even being a close game. I think Iowa brings their A-game this week and gets the cover.

The rest of these are regular one unit plays.

Boston College -3.5 vs Notre Dame…………….Lost with BC last week, so I am jumping them again in a very similar situation. BC the better team at home and should win a tight one.

Alabama -3 vs LSU………After LSU losing two straight at home, it is hard to imagine them losing another one. I am not sure if Bama is the best team in the country or not, I doubt they are, but I feel like they are meant to win and will find a way to win this game.

UCLA +8 vs Oregon State………….I have taken a lot of home dogs this week, so why stop now? UCLA always dangerous at home and most of the pac-10 sucks this year.

Cincinnati +7 vs W Virginia………….WVU a huge disappointment this year, while Cincy has been a surprise. I will take the surprise team plus the points.

I get the feeling I bounce back and this will be a great week or I will fall flat on my face and get destroyed. I don’ feel anything in the middle. One or the other. My money says I have a geat week. That is why they call it gambling I guess.

    Good Luck Everybody!!
