    Juicy Dogs this week

Let me start with a PK play on Purdue. How the hell are they a pick vs. a top 25 team? Because Minny is overrated big time. In their last (and probably most impressive) win they beat Illinois despite giving up 550 total yds and 11 yds per pass PLAY. Other wins....N Illinois by 4, BG off a letdown after beating Pitt, (3-4, FCS) Montana State by 12. Fla Atlantic, and a weak IU team.

They beat IU and only scored 16 pts. In the last 5 games IU gave up 55 to Iowa, 45 to Ill, 42 to Ball State and 45 to Michigan State. Minny managed 16 pts and 333 yds.

Purdue definitely has not looked good, but has played well at home in the Tiller years and has not beaten a top 25 team in years. My guess is they will this weekend..... The offense finally came alive this weekend even though they played slop ball and gave the ball up all game.

    Other juicy dogs.....

    Tennessee +7 vs. ALA
    IU +8 vs. NW
    Arizona State +4 vs. Ore
    Washington +11.5 vs. ND
    Wisconsin +2 vs. Ill
Ohio State +2.5 vs. Penn State
    Arizona +15.5 vs. USC
    Louisville +4.5 vs. So Fla

I really cannot remember so many nice looking home dogs in one weekend....

Every one of them is at home.....

that is his thread, this is mine. Stay away from Purdue. You jinx them.

And figure out that OSU has the best defense in the Big Ten, bar none.

i don't think i could hit "submit" on a Purdue bet anyways after all the cornholing i have received compliments of them.

I think the best dog on that list is Wisconsin personally. Everyone thinks they suck and has written them off which is usually a good spot for a team. They were overvalued to start and now i think they are undervalued.

OSU i agree has a great defense. But the question is can the offense score enough to win a game versus a quality opponent. That im not so sure of yet. 45-7 was misleading offensively last week....still only 320 yards of offense.

Penn State must think they are GODS right now after the second half last weekend.

ND should not be a DD fave on the road anywhere.....Ditto NW on road by > 1 TD

Not saying I will play them all but I am leaning to all.

I also kind of like MEEECH +4 at home vs. MSU.

Like these two myself. I also like Michigan+pts. Playing all 3 on the ml as well.

I will likely stay away from PSU/OSU, though I think the Buckeyes may be the right side.

I don't see that one at all. Illinois 1-2 on the road but losses were to Missouri & PSU. They gave both teams a game, but they just can't seem to beat a ranked opponent. Wisconsin has no consistent qb play, so Illinois can zero in on Hill. Plus the Badgers are turnover machines.... Everyone thinks they suck because they do! IMO if linesmakers were taking a stand on them, they would be favored by 2, not dogged. JMO

i don't think they are as bad as everyone thinks. Hill might be out for this game after turning an ankle but the backup is as good or better. They had a switch at QB last week and that kid looked better as the game went on. But Iowa is as hot as anyone right now and that's not an easy matchup on the Road. I kind of look for a circle the wagons game this weekend vs. Illinois. I think Illinois is overrated as well. I mean congrats, they played a decent half of football at PSU before getting steamrolled in the 2H. The Mizzou game was a neutral site game and how good does MIzzou look now after getting CRUSHED at Texas and losing at home to OKST. Illinois lost at home to Minnesota and then beat an awful IU team. So im not quite sure what Illinois has done this year to warrant being a road favorite. I think that wisconsin is undervalued at this point, IMO....and ILL has no business being a favorite on the road. They have wins over E.Illinois, LA Lafayette and IU and a godly awful Michigan team.

I'm not going to go over the whole speech again, but just like when everyone was saying WISKY would not lose 2 straight home games when they played PSU, OSU being a home dog to PSU this week, especially after OSU looked like world beaters in the process of just obliterating a previously 5-1 MSU team on the road last weekend = the oddsmakers straight up giving you their opinion again.

I would disagree if the public was killing PSU with no movement, or if sharp money pounded OSU to the fave, but neither of those are the case.

Think about it. OSU being a home dog? When was the last time that happened? When was the last time OSU lost a home conference game? Or any home game period? I can't help but wonder how many people are gonna see OSU as a home doggie as free dough.

Whatever happens, happens in that one, and I'm not gonna sit here saying PSU is the best play on the board or anything stupid like that, but OSU as a home DOG sure as hell looks like a sucker bet to me.....

I would agree if Penn State was a bigger fave, but I think people see less than a FG with a top 3 team and think easy money....OSU or not. Ohio State will be the toughest defense this team has played all year. If OSU wins the turnover battle, they will be difficult to beat. OSUs rep got tarnished big time at USC (and sluggish other outings) and Penn State's got more credit for that Michigan collapse than they should have.
