Cincy -7.5 over Rutgers-- Schiano's club in a yearliong funk. Sr QB Teel doubting himself and has twice as many INTs ad TDs. Cincy clocked RU in NJ last year and despite being down to its third QB still potent on offense. RU has played 1 road game and lost to Navy!
Stanford +6.5 over Arizona - Cardinal showed plenty of pluck vs. Irish last week. Down 28-7 in 4th they roared back to close within TD late. Showed good ground game and Harbough has put some fight in this team. They don't quit. Arizona has feasted on the Little Sisters of the Poor all year and going on the road in the PAC-10 is not easy.
Tulsa -25 over SMU - The nation's highest scoring team goes against one of the worst defense in the nation. The spread is actually too low. Yes. June Jones is now at SMU, but has not yet recruited the type of players he needs to bring back SMU to respectability
BYU -23 over New Mexico. - Another high scoring offense that is almost invincible at home against a defensively challenged team on the road. BYU can name the score in this one.
Missouri -14over Okie State- Mizzo comes home after ripping Huskers a new one on their home turf. Both teams can flat out score, but Mizzo's defense will help its offense add more points to the cause.
Idaho +34 over Fresno St.- Somewhere along the way Fresno lost its defense and a promising season has gone awry. Can't see them getting excited about a non-conference tilt vs. Vandals, who can put up a few TDs here. Bulldogs will want to build safe lead then put in the reserves. Too many points.
