    KANSAS over/under for 2008?

I am a Kansas fan and coming off of last year I was wondering what everyone thinks about the # of wins they can achieve this year? They lose a lot but they also have some very good skilled players back as well as the #1 rated JUCO player in running back Crawford. A much more difficult schedule as follows ( I have put the games that I believe they will win in bold) and left the other ones standard:

    08/30/08 vs. Florida International
    09/06/08 vs. Louisiana Tech
    09/12/08 at South Florida
    09/20/08 vs. Sam Houston State
    10/04/08 at Iowa State
    10/11/08 vs. Colorado

    10/18/08 at Oklahoma
    10/25/08 vs. Texas Tech
    11/01/08 vs. Kansas State
    11/08/08 at Nebraska
    11/15/08 vs. Texas
    11/29/08 vs. Missouri

The over/under in wins is set at 7.5 what do you all think. I am looking at betting the over heavy as I believe an 8-4 season is definitely in the cards. With all of those bolded wins all they have to get is two more to hit the over. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?

So you do not think they will win two of those remaining games, the key game to me is that South Florida game.

there's no saying what will go down in the k state game either. That is always a battle and definitely not a gimme. I would think under also.

They aren't beating South Florida in Tampa, IMHO. They aren't beating Oklahoma in Norman, and Missouri is flat out better than them too so that's 3 games right there I don't give them much of a shot. They could easily lose at home to Texas too. So at best they go 8-4 IMHO.

You are also counting your chickens before they hatch by giving them a win over what is going to be a very improved Colorado football team and Daws makes a good point about the K-State rivalry game. Lastly, Texas Tech is always tricky and going to Nebraska is hit or miss these days.

Tough one to bet, number seems spot on to me. They aren't a bad team by any means but they are playing 3 teams that are flat out better than them in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas and then the rest fo that schedule (except their 3 cupcake non-conference games against two 100+ ranked D1 teams and Sam Houston) is tricky.
