Manningham has a shot at the first round.* Don't know where Arrington ends up, but his bowl game performance won't hurt him.* And there seems to be more to the Mallet story other than him not wanting to play in a spread offense.* There has been word all year that he didn't get along to well with the rest of the team.* They say he's arogant and thought he was bigger than the school.

That was the first rumor, the latest has him going to Tennessee because the Vols are interviewing Michigan's former offensive coordinator and former QB coach.

I've heard or read all of these schools - Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas A&M, UCLA, and one other I forget right now, damn...

Looks like Tenn hired someone else for the OC job.* My guess is that Tenn gets scratched of the list

UCLA would be a good fit based on past offenses...not sure if newheyzell is going to run the same type of offense, but UCLA has traditionally run more of a pro style drop back offense....

UCLA was the first school that was mentioned. If the QB coach goes there (he has interviewed) I bet he ends up a Bruin.

I read today that the Mallet family has decided that UCLA is just too far from home. Also the new OC in Tennessee has run a spread offense the last 2 years at Richmond. We all know that Mallet ain't no spread offense QB. Looks like Arkansas and A&M are the front runners right now.

I mean, I doubt they were driving to Ann Arbor, or any Big 10 stadium, to watch their son play anyway.

                            Arkansas it is, per Scout.com:

                            Dudley E. Dawson

Former Texas High quarterback and Arkansas native Ryan Mallett will indeed transfer to the University of Arkansas after a year at Michigan.

Perhaps a year later than he originally envisioned, former Texas High quarterback standout and Arkansas native Ryan Mallett will be a Razorback.

Mallet (6-7, 250), who played in 11 games his true freshman season at Michigan, will officially enroll at the University of Arkansas as soon as his official transfer papers arrive.

That's all that is left per UA compliance official Marvin Caston, who spoke after current Razorbacks Darren McFadden and Felix Jones publicly announced their decisions to forgo their senior seasons.

"We got the permission to speak letter from the University of Michigan (earlier) and we should have the official transfer release from them this afternoon," Caston said. "I can't confirm whether or not he is enrolled."

Mallett passed for nearly 8,000 yards and 73 touchdowns for Texas High in his prep career and never tried to hide the fact that he grew up wanting to play for Arkansas.

But when former Razorback Mitch Mustain signed with Arkansas back in 2006, that sent Mallett on to Michigan.

Mallett played in 11 games this past season for the Wolverines, completing 61 of 141 passes for 14 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.

Mallett is expected to talk about his decision in the near future.
