Wait, are you trying to say Florida will be playing Ohio State tonight or that the 2002 OSU team will be playing tonight? I'm so confused as to why those numbers matter. Actually, I'm not, ESPN spits them out

my favorite is the 0-8 vs. the SEC.....yeah, the 2001 outback bowl under John Cooper has tons of relevance to the game tonight.......... ...same with that 1938 liberty bowl.....

I love how those numbers don't matter to you anymore, like last year never happened. I hate to tell you this, but that team was MUCH better than your current squad. Good thing you're not playing as explosive of an offense as fla, but you will still lose tonight. I guess we won't have to worry about next year, because USC should make sure that you don't back in to another title game.

Can I ask why what 2006 OSU did against 2006 Florida matters in the game between 2007 OSU and 2007 LSU? I can say, with 100% certainty, that no Florida players from last year's team will suit up for LSU. New QB, new RB, new WRs, new DL, changes all over for OSU. I would hope that didn't take a part in your capping. If LSU wins, it will have nothing to do with what the Buckeyes did in 1938 in the Liberty bowl.....

by the way, who was ohio state's big win this year? Washington? Was beating a mediocre PennSt team on the road a really tough task? You beat michigan without henne and hart, so let's throw that out(and hell, they lost to app state, so who cares anyway). Even with Michigan, you haven't played a team that is ranked in the top 20 anyway. Why should we ignore the step up in competition, against a team that is essentially playing a home game?

LSU won't beat you by 30, but 10 should be enough.

I'm done after this post, because I don't want to mess up Rothko's thread anymore but. Since the end of the 2004 season, Penn State has lost 2 games at home. One to Michigan and one this year to OSU.

I repeat, who is your BIG WIN over? LSU at least has played some competition. You played exactly no one.

And Nittany--do you think that most successful cappers ignore historical trends? If you do, I would question YOUR capping methods.

 Any capper that cites a bowl game that happened before I was born as a reason for making a play gets faded pretty quickly

as for your home record, you beat not one top 25 team at home last year, and in 05, that major victory was THE Ohio St university.

I really don't care, it's just a couple of big 10 homers against an SEC homer. But I would argue that very few would suggest that the Big 10 is the better conference.

LSU is 1-7-2 L10 this year ATS......FYI...there's a historical trend that matters for you...

what happened between 2 teams 2 coaches and many many players who are gone ago has no bearing on a game played tonight. any successful capper will tell you that and question YOUR methods bitter UGA guy if you use them.......

im out........let the best team win. i think OSU has a good shot as any tonight. whichever team limits mistakes wins IMO...

This thread proves what I was sayign earlier... if you want to make a pick, do it... don't act like an ass. For as confident as you are tdawgmd, you better have alot of ******* units on the tigers, otherwise stfu. Because if the buckeyes win, you're going to look like a douche. People have just gotta talk ****, thats great, put your money where your mouth is...

I like how everyone congregates into Rothko's thread like this is the round table or the House of Commons or something.

it's Rothko's thread... relevant thoughts, and coherent arguments need not apply :beerbang:

                                GO OSU (for tonight)
