Big 12 vs SEC...This will be the Only Bowl that Matches 2 6-6 Teams this Season with Bama making its 55th Bowl Apperence and their 4th Bowl Trip in a Row...To Finish the Season Color Beat a Poor Nebraska Team (That Some Small Colleges could have Beaten from Half the Year on..)..65-51 in a Sad Looking Game for People that Like Fundamental Football...But Bama Lost their Last 4 Games to Finish 6-6..Note to All of Bama Loses they were by 7 Points or Less...Bama Could have had a 10 Plus Win Season Easy with the Low Loss vs U L Monroe at Home..17-10...Main Players for Color are QB Hawkins (Coach's Son)..2693 Yards..19 TDs...15 INTs...and RBs Charles with 989 Yards..8 TDs at 5.3 Ave/Carry....Bama Main Players are QB..Wilson..2590 Yards..15 TDs..11 INTs...and RBs..Grant..891 Yards with 8 TDs at 4.9 Ave and Coffee with 473 Yards with 4 TDs and 4.3 Ave...Color Top WR only had 43 Catches..which is Poor for a Passing Team while Bama Top WR Had Few More at 63 Catches for 6 TDs...Bama was a Poor ATS Team during Season Going 2-9 ATS with Color Going 6-6 ATS...But High Placement for Bama was Part of the Blame after a 6-2 Start with Wins Over..Vany...Ark..Miss...Tenn..Look like a Good SEC Start Only to Lose those Last 4 Close Games Vs Bowl Bound type of Teams....the 17-10 Loss vs UL Monore was a Killer as a 24 Pt Fav...Color is UNDER 9-1 in Last 10 NON Conf Games and 11-4 in Last 15 Games as Underdog and Bama is UNDER 27-13 in Last 40 Games as a Fav...Last year 3 Straight Loses Ended Bama Reg Season that Ended Shula Coaching of the Tide...Bama will try and Avoid Back to Back Losing Season in 45 Years....Hardest Loss was when Bama had a 27-17 Point Lead in 2nd Half vs Future BCS Bowl TEam LSU Only to Lose 41-34 to Start the 4 Game Slide...Color under 2nd Yr Head Coach Hawkins started 1-2 then won 3 Straight then Lost 4 of 5 Games...Bama is Ranked #29th in Defense in the Tough SEC Conf Only Allowing 341 Yards/Game and Color is Ranked #65th Allowing 390 Yards/Game...Playing in a Conf Not as Strong Top to Bottem as SEC...Color Struggled in Losses Ave just 15.3 Pts/Game and Wins 39.8 Pts/Game...It took the Season but Bama Players Finally understood Saban...That they did Not Finish Off Games..that is What Makes a Good Team..GREAT...They will Finish Off this Bowl Game and Beat Color and Shut them Down...Look for a 25-7...24-10 Type of Game with Bama getting a Right Start to 2008...So..

Well...A Better Day/Nite.....5-1 on Bowls..Lost the Last One...Told My Fiend that I Thought the Auburn/Clemson Game would Come Down to a Last Sceond FG or OT...The Side Play was a Good Play Because this Game was the Most Even Game of All the Bowls Games So Far and I Had a Hard Time Picking this One...Thought Clem had a Tiny/Slight Edge so I Took Them...Congrats$$ to All on the Tigers...of Auburn...Congrats$$...BO....Great Way for Your Boys to Finish the Season...Congrats$$ to All on Auburn and their Fans...!!..:sm: ...I Left the Totals Alone and Day/Nite Was Better to Me...BOL to ALL on Tuesday...Working on them Now..:thumbs:

Well...1-0...Nite...24-19 on Bowls...Congrats$$ to All on WV and Congrats$$ to the Over..!! and I Know we Blew a Chance to Play for the BCS Champ Game...But After Beating Oklahoma by 20 Points in a 48-28 Game with 526 Total Offense......I Think WV Showed it had the Team to Win or at Least Play for it All....I Really Believe that Rumor was True in the Pitt Game that QB White was Held Out when he could have Still Played...then when He gets Back in the Play Calling is Suspect at Best...How could Coach Rod Leave a Team that Played for National Champ Game...So We Lost the Pitt Game...Believe what You Want..My Source has Always Been a Good One....Defense Played well vs a Oklahoma Team...Here at WV we are Used to People Doubting Us or Laughing at Us....But Not Tonite...No We Don't Play in the SEC or PAC-10 or BIG 10 or Big 12 or ACC....But We Are the Big East Right Now and I am Proud to be a WV Born and Breed...But People will make Excuses that we were Lucky..Oklahoma Played a Bad game..But we are Used to That......Big Nite for this Little State...:sm:

Yes Thor the Pitt game was a fricken fix by Coach Rod. You ask how could he leave a team playing for Title. How could he leave one that won the Title? How could a school fire a coach that went to the BCS title game. How do you think the school got Kendrick settled down. They told him the truth. He found out his boy was not as golden as he thought. You know the lawsuits and problems Coach Rod could have put the school in over dating a student. I know the school really wanted him to stay but they could not allow it. So they passed the problems along to Mich. We will find a new coach. Our schedule is getting better. Auburn and Colorado added for next year.
