    Larry

You guys set up there and make fun of us from West By God Virginia. But when your sports programs are in trouble where's the first place you run too. LMAO

Thank you very much for taking that idiot off our hands. Been waiting 7 long years to get rid of him and bring home da man.

West Virginia welcomes Terry Bowden back home. Im waiting on the official announcement.

I bet you did not know that WVU's sports programs will be up 5.5 million dollars because of Mich. 1.5 million for Beilein. Now you got to pay 4 million for Coach Rod.

Now here's the kicker. We got Huggins back, setting at 7-1 only lost to Tenn by 2 points

You got Beilein setting at 4-6. How the hell does a big school lose to Harvard???

Well what I found out today is that Coach Rod resigned as of Jan 3 after the Fiesta bowl. But he is already recruiting for Michigan and that is a violation of his contract. WVU cant let him go because they will lose 4 million dollars. So they got to put up with is crap. But then WVU has a law school and the Head of the law school said he can still be told to get out over already recruiting for Michigan. Some top QB from Penn was looking to go to about 5 schools and he told some website WVU's off my list and Michigan's on it now. So it's a mess.

Now here's top info on new coach:

Doc Holliday from Flordia and Terry Bowden right now two front runners.

I said the other day it would be Terry but right now Doc Holliday is number one choice.

        Terry Bowden second.

I know you dont give a rats ass.

But inside scoop is that the reason Coach Rod left and took Michigan job was..........................................WVU was going to fire him. Yep that's right. He just did the dirty work by leaving. It was a blessed and joyous day when he decided to leave. You guys up North there will find out what I mean. He's got a 4 year contract with Michigan and he will not last. You guys will not put up with the bullcrap and baggage that comes with him. Trust me. You'll dig this post up in about 3 years and say darn it Queen was right.

Here is the list who they are talking to.

          A look at possible candidates:

Terry Bowden: The WVU graduate told the Daily Mail in October he wanted to return to coaching next season and that he wanted to replace Rodriguez if he had left for Alabama last year.

Bowden, who played at WVU and is the son of former coach Bobby Bowden, was 45-23-1 in six seasons at Samford and then 47-17-1 in five years and part of a sixth at Auburn, including an 11-0 record in 1993. He resigned six games into the 1998 season and has not coached since. He's been working as a college football analyst and a public speaker since.

Jimbo Fisher: The Florida State offensive coordinator was named head-coach-in-waiting Dec. 10. He is to get the job once Bobby Bowden retires. His new contract contains a $2.5 million buyout, though WVU is supposed to receive one-third of Rodriguez's $4 million buyout in 30 days. Fisher is from Clarksburg and his brother, Bryan, is the head coach at Robert C. Byrd High.

Todd Graham: Graham was on Rodriguez's staff for two years and was co-defensive coordinator in 2002. He left to be defensive coordinator at Tulsa for three years and was hired as Rice's head coach in 2006. Graham was 7-6 and led the Owls to their first bowl in 45 years. He was hired by Tulsa this year and is 9-4 entering the GMAC Bowl against Bowling Green. His co-offensive coordinator is former WVU recruiting coordinator/tight ends coach Herb hand.

Doc Holliday: Associate head coach/recruiting coordinator/safeties coach for the University of Florida, Holliday played three years at WVU and was a full-time assistant there from 1983-99. A native of Hurricane, Holiday was considered briefly by WVU before Rodriguez was hired in 2000 and has won a national championship with the Gators since. He's regarded as one of the top recruiters in Florida.

Butch Jones: Central Michigan's coach won the Mid-American Conference championship in his first season and is 8-5 entering the Motor City Bowl against Purdue. He spent the previous two years as Rodriguez's wide receivers coach. Jones studied the spread offense under not only Rodriguez, but also Cincinnati coach Brian Kelly. Jones replaced Kelley at CMU this year and Kelly's success with the Bearcats in the Big East could sway WVU.

Bill Stewart: The likely interim coach would have a wonderful opportunity to audition in the Fiesta Bowl against No. 3 Oklahoma. A New Martinsville native, Stewart was promoted to associate head coach in the offseason and is one of the team's most valuable recruiters, to say nothing of his popularity with the players. A 31-year veteran of college coaching, he's been at various levels and positions, including three years as the head coach at VMI. Stewart was also an offensive coordinator in the Canadian Football League.

Other possibilities: Buffalo Coach Turner Gill, Huntington native and Wake Forest Coach Jim Grobe, Temple Coach Al Golden, Valdosta State Coach Chris Hatcher, East Carolina Coach Skip Holtz.

Add Nick Saban to that list Queen:

Sources close to University President Mike Garrison have informed WBGV that Nick Saban’s agent has contacted WVU regarding our vacant head-coaching position.

These sources tell us that Saban is extremely unhappy in Tuscaloosa and has failed to recapture the situation he had in Baton Rouge with LSU. The purpose of the agent’s call was to express initial interest in the position and to have WVU athletics put together a compensation package enough to lure Saban from Alabama. This package would not need to be as much as Saban is currently making at Alabama, but enough to not result in a 50% paycut. So, we’re obviously talking more than the $1.9 million former coach Rich Rodriguez was making.

Again, this is all very preliminary, but solid sources have confirmed that Nick Saban’s agent has contacted West Virginia University.

*** UPDATE #1 *** This report has been confirmed by the staff at WVSports.com. Unfortunately, it is posted on their premium board so that confirmation can not be reprinted here. Still, it has been confirmed.

            Stay tuned.

*** UPDATE #2 *** Well, it’s not a stone-cold confirmation, but our friend Mike Casazza can’t verify that the story isn’t true. Pardon the double negative, but it looks like this baby certainly has legs.

              Stay tuned.

Well he can come home too. LOL

these coaches are really unreal. i mean the stories that are coming out on petrino who signed an extension at LOU and a week later was lobbying for the AUB job. then everyone knows how classless the guy was when he left ATL.

and on Saban...what has the guy really ever done?? he had a mediocre program at MSU...he was horrible with the Dolphins...he took over a loaded club at LSU and hasn't done **** at ALA.......talk about inviting a wolf to come hang out in the chicken coup....wow....i don't know why anyone would want this guy.

it is such a joke that players have to sit out a year when they transfer and coaches can come and go as they please.

The AD was very pissed off about the Pitt game. He was quoted as saying he was not happy with the way the game was coached. Those two have been fighting all season long. Rich demanding things that could not and would not be done by the school. There is nothing wrong with Mountaineer Stadium. No need to build another stadium like he wanted.

Well for one he's a darn crybaby. Spoiled brat. The baggage he carry's around with him is he's a liar.

How can you lie to your AD and tell him your going Christmas shopping over in Toledo and then come home and start packing. Then swear he was not doing anything. Calls one of his top recruits and tells him cross off WVU I'm going to Michigan and you can come to Michigan with me. He called him first. He still has never called the Univeristy and told them he is leaving. Sent over a note with an assistant that said I'm leaving Jan 3. Now this note says Im leaving Jan 3 then at today press conference he said Im not coaching the Fiesta Bowl game. Cancel pratice and tell them it's because there is a basketball workshop over in the indoor practice stadium. When you could call practice at 6PM. Never had a team meeting to tell his players bye or why he left. Michigan never called WVU and asked for a meeting. Not cool in my book.

He will get what's due to him when Michigan fires him in 3 years.

Funny thing is today Ohio State gained about 2 million new fans.

When Coach Rod left yesterday on a plane some unhappy fans found out what flight he was leaving on, they went to the airport and started yelling O-H. This morning the university woke up to a card board cut out of Coach Rod holding a Coca Cola his ad thing with Coke with a nooze around it's neck strung up the flag pole. Then the darn Morgantown police where called over to his house because mad fans where throwing stuff at the moving crew.

He's left a very bad taste in alot of people's mouths. Not mine Im happy to see him go.

Supose to talk with Bowden Thursday.

Saban on Friday only if Bowden dont take job.

But Im also hearing Tommy Bowden's name too.

my friend told me that he was offered the Texas Tech job back in 2000, he accepted but 4 days later didnt take it, and we ended up with Leach.
