Capping the Orange bowl was no easy feat IMHO! I personally see points that could drive me to either side. The one thing that I just could not get past was the fact that Kansas had one of the easiest schedules in the country, this is not saying they did not play anybody, though outside of Okie(your welcome cuse) state and Mizzou who was worth a shiat? They are impressive no doubt as they have one of the top O's and D's in the country, but I attribute that mostly to schedule. I forsee a low scoring affair so the under looks nice as well. I just think the more seasoned/bowl experienced VT team with the better D against somewhat better competition will make this spread cover! BOL to all on your playz!
On a side note I read somewhere, that all teams that went 11-0 during the season and lost game 12 are 0-4 ATS in their bowl game...whether this is a fact or not is uncertain and did not influence me in my decision just thought it was interesting. :beerbang:

Bo, you put in my thread that WVU and Auburn would play 2008 when they decided on a day. I got that they are playing September 6 at WVU and then in 2009 September 5 at your place. Who knows things could change. I know that it's a for sure thing.NFL 2-0. Week 1

Congrats to all the KS backers:beerbang: Who woulda thought they would provide the better D and special teams???Big win for Jayhawk nation!!
Q...I was told through my AU sources that they were looking to reschedule next years game to later in the season maybe towards the end i.e 3 weeks before the season is over???It will definetly be played but the date is up in the air. Here is what I have:
MOVING IT BACK: Auburn and West Virginia have agreed to push back their Sept. 6, 2008, game in Morgantown if the schedules can be juggled, Tuberville said. Tuberville said the game would be played on a Thursday night for ESPN. The move would make sense for both teams, since Auburn will have a new quarterback and a new coordinator and West Virginia will have a new head coach.
"We have agreed to play if ESPN can work out the schedule and move other people around a little bit," Tuberville said. "We were willing to do that. It could give us an open date in the middle of the season plus a Thursday night game in the middle of the season. That gives us two Saturdays off, plus we have a Saturday off after the Georgia game. That's the last part of the season, and we'd be able to get some guys back healthy."
Tuberville cautioned that the schedule change was only "in the works" and had not been finalized.
Either way it looks like whenever the game is played I will be making my first trip to Morgantown....not only are the thoughts of White, and Devine scary throw in a thursday night game in Morgantown......:eeek:Comment

But don't forget the fact that WVU will likely just lay down and hand the game to Auburn. I mean, why would they want to even try against a vaunted SEC foe :beer2:Comment
-
1. The SEC is the Best dont mess with US or any school that is apart of US.
2. If you should schedule an SEC team better to just lay down than try and battle against the vaunted SEC, you cannot win so dont even try!
3. Should you try and be slick and play hard you will lose because WE are the SEC.
4. Remember the SEC has the bigger, faster, smarter athletes and all the rest of the conferences have slow, small, dumb athletes so if you want to be apart of the former dont join the latter, and you will win all your games and be recognized as being apart of THE mighty SEC.
5. As it relates to #4, only sign with SEC schools, this will only enhance your chance of playing on Sunday, and winning all your out of conference games on Saturday.
