The BCS just sucks. That's about all there is to it, lol
Georgia is a fine team, but a non-conference champion playing for the national championship is like not winning your league in MLB or NFL, but still playing in the super bowl or world series on strength of schedule.
And that's just a plain stupid thought, IMO.
If NO ONE else, LSU has to go before UGA, just on the principle that they won the same conference that UGA did not.Comment

Yes but... its the best team that should be in the national championship, if you have a better overall record with more key wins and less powerful losses, you're a better team. Conference championships are solely dependent on conference wins/loss... you can lose them and still technically be a better team because of non conference wins and losses. Thats just how I see it, and thats how the bcs computes things.Comment

Becuase its OVERALL RECORD... not head to head matchups. How do you not see this?? Every sport works thsi way.Comment

Georgia lost to S.Carolina which lost to, shocker, Tennessee and also lost to, shocker, LSU.
Lets forget Tenn.... lets compare LSU to Georgia
Georgia lost to S.Carolina.... LSU beat them fairly convincingly
Georgia lost to Tennesse.... LSU beat them... not convincingly, but still a Win
now...
LSU lost to Kentucky... georgia beat Kentucky... score one for Georgia
LSU lost to Arkansas..... Georgia did not play Arkansas... so hard to say
now lets compare the O.O.C games
Georgia played no one exceptionally noteworthy..... LSU beat Vatech, another team in contention for inclusion in the National Championship, by 41 points....
I think this case is closed.Comment
